Ipswich have been short on goals this season, scoring 20 times across their 21 Premier League games. However, the Tractor Boys did find the net at the Etihad.

The Citizens’ defensive issues have plagued them all season, as they’ve kept four clean sheets across their 21 matches. Pep Guardiola’s side have conceded in 10 of their last 11 away trips, while their underlying numbers remain a concern.

With Haaland tied down, City now need to focus on getting him some help in the final third. The Norwegian has been carrying the scoring burden for City, netting 16 of their 38 Premier League goals. The next-highest scorers are Josko Gvardiol and Phil Foden, who have four strikes each.

Foden has shown signs of improvement of late, scoring three goals and recording an assist across his last four appearances. He bagged both of City’s goals at Brentford in midweek and he can follow that up with a strike at Portman Road.

Sam Morsy to be carded

Morsy has seven bookings to his name this season, but he’s been remarkably disciplined in terms of the timing of those cautions. The midfielder was booked in four of his first six Premier League games, including that loss at City.

Morsy was one yellow card away from a suspension, but he avoided another booking until December 21st, putting him out of the clash with Arsenal in late December. With no more threat of suspension, Morsy has been booked in three of his last four.

The midfielder has contributed to Ipswich totalling up the third-most cards this season. He is the team’s joint leader in cards, while he ranks second in terms of fouls per game.

Liam Delap to be carded

Ex-Man City forward Liam Delap also has seven bookings this season, while he is the only Ipswich player who averages more fouls than Morsy.

Delap has been eye-catching in front of goal, but he has been cautioned in four of his last six appearances.
