Inter Milan vs Parma Prediction: Champions could be in for a battle

Serie A champions Inter are four points behind leaders Napoli with a game in hand after Sunday’s game at Fiorentina was abandoned and they have not lost in the league since September.

Parma striker Gabriel Charpentier is out with an Achilles injury while Adrian Bernabe, Yordan Osorio, Mateusz Kowalski and Alessandro Circati are also out.

Serie A champions Inter are hot 2/11 favourites to take three points from Friday’s game, giving them an implied win probability of 84%, while Parma can be backed at 12/1. The draw is available at 13/2.

Goals are anticipated with over 2.5 priced at 1/3 while those wishing to back both teams to score in the clash can get 5/6.

Not surprisingly, Inter forwards Lautaro Martinez (3/1) and Marcus Thuram (4/1) are favourites to score the game’s first goal.

Inter are heavy favourites to win this one as they look to chase down leaders Napoli, but Parma look capable of finding the net against a team who have conceded in four of their last five home league games.

The visitors showed their mettle in their first away game of the campaign at Napoli, when their hosts needed two injury-time goals to earn a 2-1 victory.

They have also earned a 2-2 draw at Juventus this season and, as both teams have scored in six of their last seven league outings, it would not be a huge surprise if that trend continued on Friday.
