It's FA Cup 1st round replay time in midweek and on Tuesday evening (19:30) we have a televised tie from The Camping World Community Stadium in Horsham, as the Isthmian League side host League One Barnsley. We've previewed this one and given you our betting predictions.

Horsham vs Barnsley Betting Tips

  • Barnsley to win and Both Teams to Score - 6/4
  • Over 3.5 goals - 11/10

Horsham FC look to gain entry into the FA Cup 2nd round draw for only the second time in their history on Tuesday night, in front of the BBC cameras and a sell out Hop Oast Stadium.

The Hornets defied all expectations a week ago last Friday, holding a side that sit four tiers above them in the English footballing pyramid, to a superb 3-3 draw.

They followed that result up with a disappointing 2-0 home loss to Hashtag United at the weekend, which was only their second loss in their last 17 in all competitions and leaves them sat in 10th in the Isthmian Premier League table.

Now, Dominic Di Paola's men must get their season back on track and attempt to knock Barnsley out of this most famous of all cup competitions.

For Barnsley, this tie has already been a massive inconvenience and a replay is the last thing the side need in an already heavily-congested fixture list.

The South Yorkshire side were heavily beaten by Derby on Saturday, for their first loss in six games and are in danger of dropping out of the League One playoff picture, so will hope to get this tie won inside the 90 minutes, to avoid any further disruption to their promotion aspirations.

Team news

Horsham don't appear to have any additional injuries for this huge FA Cup clash.

Box-to-box midfielder Josh Benson is out for this one after hobbling off injured just six minutes after he was subbed on, against Derby on Saturday. He is the Tykes only absentee.

Match odds

The visitors are massive 2/9 odds-on favourites to win this replay in 90 minutes, whilst Horsham are 17/2 to pull off the massive shock. The draw is available to back at 11/2 if you think this one will go to extra time.

Goals look to be on the menu with over 2.5 goals as short as 2/5. Both teams to score is a slight favourite with yes at 4/5 and no at 10/11.

Barnsley to win and Both Teams to Score - 6/4

Barnsley should obviously have too much quality for a side that are leagues below them but I like Horsham's chances of scoring here.

The Hornets three-goal performance in the reverse fixture, means that Barnsley have conceded eight goals in their last three games in all competitions.

Over 3.5 goals - 11/10

Horsham haven't kept a clean sheet in their last five games either so goals should be plentiful in this first round replay.

The two sides played out a six goal thriller last time and while I don't think we will get as lucky as that, I expect the over 3.5 goals line to be breached.
