Heidenheim 1846 vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction: Can the hosts frustrate the Black and Yellows again?

Last year's Bundesliga top goalscorer, Niclas Fullkrug, has been a regular source of goals for Dortmund this year after arriving in the summer from Werder Bremen. The 30-year-old has scored nine goals in 17 appearances in the league this term and four of them have come in his last two.

He bagged a hat-trick last time out against VfL Bochum which sets him up nicely for the trip to Heidenheim this weekend. As Dortmund's leading marksman he will carry their biggest threat in this contest.

However, with the run that Dortmund are on, we think that they can end the hosts' unbeaten run and extend their winning streak in this one. They are currently 13 points adrift of league leaders Bayer Leverkusen, so a late title charge seems unlikely right now.

But they are looking to ensure that they do secure Champions League football for next term. RB Leipzig will be pressuring them for that fourth spot which means they cannot afford any slip-ups as Marco Rose's team will be waiting to pounce.
