Germany vs Poland Bet Builder Tips: Schuller at the double in 11/4 punt

Germany are one of the pre-tournament favourites to win the Uefa Women's European Championship in Switzerland this summer and they get their campaign underway on Friday (20:00 BST, ITVX) against Poland, who are making their Euros bow.
The two teams meet at Kybunpark in St. Gallen, having already tussled in qualifying. Below you can check out my Germany vs Poland Bet Builder Tips, which pay out at 11/4.

Germany to win
As one of the favourites to go all the way in this tournament, Germany are expected to have no issues progressing from Group C, which also features Denmark and Sweden. This is a big occasion for Poland as it is their first-ever appearance at the Euros finals and they will want to give a good account of themselves on this stage.
However, they will likely be dreading this first game because they arguably couldn't have been given a tougher welcome than Germany, a side who they tussled with in qualifying and who got the better of them on both occasions.
Germany beat Poland by an aggregate score of 7-2 across the two matches they played in qualifying as there was a huge gulf in class on show. It's only fair to assume the same for this opening fixture at Euro 2025, and so my Bet Builder starts with Germany to win.
This is a tournament they have won a record eight times so there is no team more dominant than them on this stage. Their attacking might is to be feared by their opponents, too, with DFB-Frauen having scored at least five goals in each of their past five matches in all competitions, while Poland themselves have seen this firepower up close.
Poland will try and put up a fight but Germany's quality should shine through and I predict a big win for Christian Wuck's side.
Germany vs Poland Bet Builder Stats
- These two teams met in qualifying, with Germany winning the two matches 7-2 on aggregate
- Lea Schuller has three goals in as many games for Germany
Over 3.5 goals
I think Germany can put on a show on Friday night and if recent form is anything to go by, we are set to be treated to quite a few goals. As such, I think over 3.5 goals has value in this clash as Germany have scored at least four goals in their past five matches in all competitions, while their previous six contests have featured at least four goals across the board.
Lea Schuller, Laura Freigang and Klara Buhl are all no strangers to getting on the scoresheet for their country, and each of them could be set for huge roles for DFB-Frauen over the next few weeks.
Over 3.5 goals has also been a winning selection in three of Poland's last five matches heading into Friday.
Lea Schuller to score two or more goals
Schuller has a great scoring record for Germany with 52 goals in 75 appearances across all competitions. The forward has been in form in the build up to this European opener, with three goals in as many matches for Wuck's side.
She was on hand to produce six goals for her side during qualifying, with one of them coming against Poland, so she might be relishing the chance to face them again but on an even bigger stage.
Since the retirement of Alexandra Popp, Schuller has really stepped up for Germany and in Lena Oberdorf's absence, she is very much their talisman for the Euros and is being tipped to have a very fruitful campaign.
I'm inclined to agree and I think she can start off with a brace.
