Team News
Georges Mikautadze and Zuriko Davitashvili have withdrawn from the Georgia squad through injury and, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is included in the squad, he is unlikely to feature following his Champions League final exploits.
Romania have seen Ionut Radu, Nicusor Bancu, Andrei Ratju, and Dennis Man withdrawn through injury, but the experienced midfield three of Nicolae Stanciu, Razvan Marin and Ianis Hagi are expected to play.
Georgia vs Romania: Predicted Lineups
- Georgia: Mamardashvili; Gelashvili, Dvali, Gocholeishvili; Kochorashvili, Chakvetadze, Mekvabishvili, Azarovi; Mikautadze, Davitashvili, Kvernadze
- Romania: Radu; Ratiu, Dragusin, Ghita, Sorescu; Marin, Stanciu, Dragomir; Man, Munteanu, Hagi
Georgia are 21/20 to take the win on Tuesday, with Romania 11/5 underdogs and the draw priced at 12/5.
Over 2.5 and Under 2.5 goals are each priced at 10/11, with both teams to score at 4/5 and odds of 10/11 for at least one side to keep a clean sheet.
Romania win or draw double chance @ 4/6
Georgia may be favourites against poor travellers Romania, but the absence of Kvaratskhelia, Mikautadze, and Davitashvili strips them of much of their attacking threat, and that could prove the deciding factor in Tbilisi.
Tuesday's hosts have only managed one win from their last six assignments and they have failed to win five of their six meetings with Romania.
At home, they have failed to beat Israel, Spain, Turkey, and Cape Verde in the past year.
Romania's away form looks poor on paper, but they have faced some difficult trips of late and they did put together a four-game winning streak before their recent five-game winless run.
The Tricolorii have won three, drawn one and lost three of their last six games, and they look good value to avoid defeat at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium.

Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5
Neither Georgia nor Romania have been particularly prolific in front of goal, and the absence of key attackers at both ends of the pitch increases the chances of a low-scoring affair in Tbilisi.
Georgia's Kvaratskhelia and Mikautadze, and Romania's Man have scored 56 international goals between them, and the former two have been responsible for each of the Jvarosnebi's last four goals.
The hosts have scored just six times in their last six games and Romania's last two away fixtures have produced only three goals in total, with the visitors failing to score in each of them, so expect goals to be at a premium in the Georgian capital.
