The Stadio Luigi Ferraris has become a tough place to visit for opposition sides and Juventus can expect a stern test of their resolve when they head there to take on Genoa on Friday night.

Genoa have won three and drawn one of their last four home games in all competitions, but that impressive record will be put to the test by a Juve side seeking to usurp Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A standings.

Genoa vs Juventus Prediction

  • Juventus to win to nil @ 8/5
  • Federico Gatti anytime goalscorer @ 6/1

Match Odds

Despite their four-match unbeaten run on home soil, Genoa are 18/5 underdogs to claim all three points on Friday night.

Juventus are 5/6 to head back to Turin with victory and the draw, which would keep the Old Lady in second place in the standings, is a 23/10 chance.

Team news

Genoa midfielder Kevin Strootman remains sidelined as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

In more positive news for Genoa boss Stefano Pioli, Ruslan Malinovskyi is available after a one-match suspension and is likely to be restored to Genoa's starting line-up.

Juventus's star striker Dusan Vlahovic is expected to start despite coming off in last week's 1-0 win over Napoli.

Timothy Weah is back in training after a thigh issue and could feature. However, Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli are suspended and Mattia De Sciglio is a long-term absentee after suffering an ACL injury.

Juventus to win to nil @ 8/5

Genoa’s home form has been solid this season but a run of one draw and three defeats in their last four outings is concerning.

That poor run has seen Genoa tumble down the Serie A standings and a lack of goals has been a real issue for the Rossoblu, who have failed to score in their last two games against Lazio and Monza.

Juve, on the other hand, are in terrific shape and head to Genoa on the back of a 10-match unbeaten run which has seen them victorious on eight occasions.

The Old Lady have kept seven clean sheets in that sequence and look capable of registering another shutout en route to three points on Friday night.

Federico Gatti anytime goalscorer @ 6/1

A defender who has been a real menace from set-pieces in recent weeks, Federico Gatti is certainly a player to look out for in the goalscorer markets.

The 25-year-old has scored in Juve's last two matches and is a nice price to continue his hot streak in front of goal against Genoa.

With Federico Chiesa able to whip in dangerous balls from free-kicks and corners, the 6-1 about Gatti notching for a third straight game looks too generous to ignore.
