Galatasaray vs Dynamo Kyiv Prediction: Gala to coast to victory in Istanbul

Dynamo Kyiv return to competitive action on Tuesday afternoon (15:30 KO, live on TNT Sports 2) following the winter break, but it is not expected to yield a positive result against a Galatasaray side who are vying for a top-eight finish in the League Phase of the Europa League.

Galatasaray vs Dynamo Kyiv Prediction
Galatasaray vs Dynamo Kyiv Odds
Galatasaray are heavy favourites to take all three points at 1/5, with a draw priced at 6/1 and Dynamo Kyiv 12/1 to claim the spoils.
Goals are expected, too, with the line set at 3.5 goals at 1/1, while both teams to score is 10/11.
Team News
Galatasaray striker Mauro Icardi is out for the season after rupturing his cruciate ligament, with Gabriel Sara joining him on the sidelines. Victor Osimhen, on loan from Napoli, is expected to lead the line for the Turks.
Dynamo Kyiv will be without at least three players for the trip to Istanbul, with Andriy Yarmolenko, Volodymyr Shepelev, and Brayan Ceballos all sidelined.
Result After 30 Minutes @ 19/20
Galatasaray are huge favourites to get the win on Tuesday and they should be able to make a flying start against a leaky visiting side.
Gala have opened the scoring inside half an hour in three of their last five Europa League ties, with the average opening goal time during this period standing at 26.4 minutes.
Dynamo Kyiv’s 3-0 defeat at Real Sociedad in their last Europa League game saw them concede all three goals inside 33 minutes, and they have been trailing after 30 minutes in four of their six games in this competition.
Five of the six of the Europa League goals they have conceded away from home this season have come in the first half, and four of those have been scored inside 30 minutes, so expect the hosts to spring out of the blocks on Tuesday.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Bet Builder - Victor Osimhen and Yunus Akgun to score anytime @ 13/5
Following a string of collapsed transfers and exile from the Napoli squad, Osimhen moved to Galatasaray on loan and it could turn out to be one of the deals of the season.
The 26-year-old has scored 14 goals in 18 Super Lig and Europa League appearances, the most recent of which came against Hatayspor on Saturday.
That was his fourth goal in as many games, and he looks a good bet to add to his four Europa League goals on Tuesday.
Only three players have scored more in the competition than Osimhen, and one of those is teammate Yunus Akgun.
The 24-year-old Turkey international has notched five times in the Europa League and has been in fine form recently.
He was player of the match last time out and has scored five and assisted five in his last seven competitive games, so he can join Osimhen on the scoresheet.
