Wolves to win

Wolves have beaten Manchester City and Tottenham this season and it would be no surprise if they went to Craven Cottage and took the points on Monday.

Gary O’Neil’s team should still be buzzing after two late goals gave them a 2-1 over Spurs and will not fear a trip to London to take on the Cottagers, who have collected just one point in their last four matches.

A further concern for Fulham boss Marco Silva is that his star midfielder Joao Palhinha is banned, so that will leave a headache as to how to deal with the absence of the influential Portuguese star, who helps the Cottagers click in the middle of the park.

The only teams they have beaten in their last 11 Premier League games have been Sheffield United and Luton, and they have scored more than once in just two of their 12 league matches this term.

They have been unable to deal with the loss of former striker Aleksandar Mitrovic and it is difficult to put much faith in a team who have scored just ten goals this term.

Wolves, meanwhile, have lost just one of their last seven league games and that defeat came courtesy of a controversial late penalty at Sheffield United, so a win at Fulham should be well within their scope.

Antonee Robinson to be carded

Palhinha’s absence due to five yellow cards is a blow for the Cottagers and there looks a decent chance that Antonee Robinson could pick up his fifth caution against Wolves.

The full-back scored in each of America’s wins over Trinidad & Tobago during the international break, but he has been cautioned in each of his last three Premier League appearances, so he looks the most likely home player to go into the notebook on Monday.

Over 5.5 Fulham corners

While Fulham have had problems scoring goals this season, their corner tallies have been respectable, especially on the banks of the Thames.

The Cottagers average 5.08 corners in their matches this season and that mark goes up to 7.4 in their home games, so it could be worth completing a #PickYourPunt by backing them to have more than 5.5 against Wolves, which has happened in four of their five league games this term.

Those who like recent form may wish to note that, in their last three games at Craven Cottage, Fulham forced eight against Chelsea and nine against both Sheffield United and Manchester United.
