Fulham vs Tottenham Hotspur Prediction: Fulham can add to Spurs woes

Tottenham Hotspur secured their place in the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday by seeing off AZ Alkmaar but their domestic form remains poor and they face a tough trip to Fulham on Sunday. Qualifying for European competition via the league looks almost impossible for Spurs this season, whereas Fulham are well placed to launch an assault on the top six over the business end of the campaign.

The Cottagers went into this round of fixtures in 10th spot but they are only five points adrift of Manchester City in fifth, and with a few games postponed this weekend due to the EFL Cup final they have a good chance to climb a few places higher if they can claim the spoils on Sunday.

 Adama Traore is in line to make a return for Fulham after missing the defeat to Brighton last time out with an ankle issue.

Sasa Lukic serves the second game of a two-match ban, while Reiss Nelson, Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson are all unavailable due to injury.

Tottenham have no fresh injury or suspension concerns following their midweek win over AZ but boss Ange Postecoglou is still coping with a few issues.

Rodrigo Bentancur is back in contention after he missed the Europa League game due to suspension, but Micky van de Ven may come out of the starting XI as Postecoglou is taking no risks with the defender’s fitness.
