Fulham vs Leicester Prediction: Cottagers can get off the mark

Leicester will be hoping to build on their draw with Tottenham when they head to Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday (15:00 KO).
The Foxes recovered from a first half battering to take a point against Spurs in their opener on Monday, while Fulham were a shade unfortunate to leave Old Trafford empty-handed in their curtain raiser. Read on for my Fulham vs Leicester prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Team News
Fulham have no fresh injury or suspension issues after their season opener, a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United, and boss Marco Silva could potentially stick with the same starting XI for Saturday’s fixture.
The Cottagers could hand Sander Berge a debut after his arrival from Burnley earlier this week. Sasa Lukic is the most likely candidate to make way if Berge is handed a starting spot.
Abdul Fatawu should be available for Leicester despite being involved in a clash of heads in the draw with Tottenham.
Luke Thomas missed the season opener and has a chance of featuring at Craven Cottage, but Conor Coady and Patson Daka remain unavailable.
Leicester’s new signing Oliver Skipp is likely to start among the substitutes.

Fulham are the favourites to win at 4/5, while Leicester are 18/5 to pick up all three points and a draw is 11/4.
Both teams scored in Leicester’s opener and Fulham conceded in their final four home games of last season so the 8/11 on both teams to score looks interesting. Over 2.5 goals is 4/5 and over 3.5 pays out at 2/1.
Fulham to win @ 4/5
Fulham came close to taking a point at Old Trafford but a late goal from United summer signing Joshua Zirkzee ensured they left Manchester with nothing to show for their efforts.
However, there were some encouraging signs for the Cottagers over the course of that game and they competed well for large periods - particularly in the second half where they nearly matched their hosts in attempts (seven to United’s eight) and shaded the possession.
A home game against Leicester looks a good opportunity for Silva’s side to claim their first points of the campaign and at 4/5 they appeal to take all three.
Fulham won nine of their 19 home games last season and had two wins in three against promoted teams at Craven Cottage.
Leicester did well to take a point against Tottenham last time out but they had to soak up a lot of pressure and keeper Mads Hermansen made six saves, so with home advantage Fulham should be able to grind out a win.
Kenny Tete to score any time @ 14/1
Only two Fulham players managed to test the keeper at Old Trafford. One was star forward Rodrigo Muniz and the other was defender Kenny Tete.
It was interesting to see how many attempts the Fulham defenders had in that game as both Calvin Bassey and Tete had two attempts on goal - and for that reason Tete appeals as an outside option for an anytime goal this weekend.
Obviously, Rodrigo is the standout pick and at 7/5 he shouldn’t be ignored either, but with Tete given licence to get forward and try his luck last weekend he has real appeal as a big price outsider for an anytime goal against the Foxes.
