Form Guide

Fulham sit fourth in the Premier League form table after the last six matches, having taken 11 points from their last six matches. Their victory over Brighton on Thursday was their third win in their last five.

The Cottagers have won four of their seven league games at Craven Cottage so far this season. They have also lost two at home, with those defeats coming in their last four matches at the Cottage.

Arsenal are third in the form table, having also picked up 11 points from their last six matches. They are ranked higher than their hosts because they boast a better goal difference of five in that period.

The Gunners have won three league games on the bounce for the first time in 2024/25. Arsenal have been victorious in just three of their seven away games in the top flight, though, and have lost two of their last four trips.

Head-To-Head

Sunday will mark the 63rd league meeting between these two London clubs. It is a contest that has been dominated by Arsenal over the years with 41 wins. Fulham have been victorious on just nine occasions, while the spoils have been shared 12 times.

The Gunners' domination has been shown in recent years, having won eight of the last 12 contests, but Fulham are unbeaten in their last two encounters, beating Arsenal 2-1 last winter at home, as well as holding them to a 2-2 draw earlier in the 2023/24 campaign at the Emirates.

A classic match from this fixture came in November 2012 as a 3-3 draw was played out at the Emirates. Fulham came from two goals down to lead 3-2, only for the Gunners to equalise themselves a few short minutes later.

Dimitar Berbatov and Olivier Giroud bagged braces that day, for Fulham and Arsenal respectively.

Goals

Fulham sit in around the middle of the pack when it comes to goals. The Cottagers are 11th in the Premier League for goals scored, having netted 21 in their first 14 matches. Those goals are working for them, though, as they are above five of the clubs who have scored more goals than them so far.

There has been just one game this term in which Fulham have failed to find the back of the net, and that came in their curtain raiser - a 1-0 defeat at Manchester United.

The Cottagers have scored three or more goals just twice this season, last time out against the Seagulls, and against Newcastle United back in September - which was another 3-1 win.

Former Arsenal man Alex Iwobi has five league goals for Fulham, and he bagged a brace against Brighton last time out.

Arsenal are third in the table for goals, having mustered 28 already. Only Chelsea (31) and Liverpool (29) have more than the Gunners. Mikel Arteta's side have blanked just twice in this campaign (v AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle) and both of those games were away from home.

Bukayo Saka has scored five goals in the Premier League this season and he has been on the scoresheet in the last two meetings between these two teams. His Arsenal teammates Martin Odegaard and Gabriel have also had a habit of scoring in this fixture in recent years, with both netting twice in the last four appearances.

Defender Gabriel has scored three goals in the Premier League this term, and two of them have come away from home. They were both scored in London, though, against rivals Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United last weekend.

Cards

Fulham are 11th in the Premier League fair play table, having picked up 33 yellow cards from their opening 14 matches. Midfielder Sasa Lukic has been booked five times already and he served a one-game suspension against the Seagulls in midweek.

Two players walking a tightrope with still a few games to go before the 19th-game amnesty are defender Calvin Bassey and midfielder Andreas Pereira, who are both sitting on four bookings heading into the weekend. Pereira was shown a yellow against Brighton having appeared from the bench, so this will likely have hindered his chances of getting a start against the Gunners.

Arsenal are sixth in the fair play table with 31 cards picked up so far. Attacker Gabriel Jesus is the closest Gunner to a suspension with four bookings heading into the weekend but he rarely starts for Arsenal in the league.

Jorginho, Saka and Jurrien Timber will also need to be careful as they have picked up three yellow cards apiece, and there are a few weeks before the system resets.

Fouls

Arsenal have committed the fourth-highest number of fouls in the top flight with 176 so far. This means that they are averaging 12.6 penalisations per game. Attacker Kai Havertz is their biggest offender with 26 - which is hardly surprising given how he doesn't shy away from the physical side of the game pressing from the front.

Fulham have been penalised on 160 occasions this season, so their average is around 11.4 per game. Serial booking collector Lukic is unsurprisingly their main culprit with 23 fouls given away, although he is closely followed by defender Kenny Tete with 21.

Corners

Arsenal are third for corners won this campaign. They have taken 95 so far and so they are averaging around 6.8 per game. Contests involving the Gunners are averaging around 10.4 corners each time.

Fulham are just behind them with 88 and the Cottagers themselves are averaging 6.3 per match this term. There has been an average of 11.3 corners in games involving Fulham this season.
