Manchester United will seek to make amends for a disastrous few days when they travel to Craven Cottage to take on Fulham on Saturday (12:30).

The Red Devils' have endured back-to-back 3-0 defeats  - firstly at the hands of Manchester City last weekend, before Newcastle United ended their Carabao Cup defence in midweek.

As for Fulham, they booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup after beating Ipswich Town.

Fulham vs Man Utd Prediction

  • Fulham to win @ 23/10
  • Under 2.5 goals @ EVS

Team News

Fulham boss Marco Silva rotated his side for the Carabao Cup win over Ipswich and is expected to return to a stronger starting XI on Saturday.

Issa Diop (foot) and Tosin Adarabioyo (groin) remain sidelined, but Kenny Tete and Adama Traore are close to making a comeback.

Casemiro is set miss the trip to Craven Cottage with a hamstring injury, while Raphael Varane is also a doubt after missing the midweek match due to illness.

Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw won't feature here, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka made a welcome return to the side in midweek.

Match Odds

Fulham are 23/10 to inflict further misery upon United, while Erik ten Hag's men are 23/20 to claim a crucial win. The draw is priced up at 12/5, and if you think there'll be goals, both teams to score is 8/13.

The last meeting between the sides at Craven Cottage saw United win 2-1 and a repeat of that scoreline can be backed at 15/2.

Rasmus Hojlund is 9/5 to score his first Premier League goal anytime, and is 5/1 to open the scoring and 11/2 to be the last goalscorer.

Fulham to win @ 23/10

It's well-documented that United are in turmoil at the moment, on and off the pitch.

Poor results and uncertainty over the club's ownership has led to huge amounts of pressure landing on the shoulders of Erik ten Hag, and the United boss will be desperate for a good performance and a result here.

United haven't lost against Fulham in 17 games, but I think that run will end on Saturday. As a fan, I've watched every United game this season, and they're yet to put in a decent showing for 90 minutes.

The Cottagers have lost just one of their past five home matches and a midweek Carabao Cup victory over a strong Ipswich side, followed a solid 1-1 draw at European hopefuls Brighton in the league will give them confidence ahead of the visit of the Red Devils.

Under 2.5 goals @ EVS

I think this game could be a tightly-contested affair.

United have conceded 10 goals in their five away league games this season, with their only clean sheet coming against a relegation-threatened Burnley, suggesting that Marco Silva's men shouldn't have any issues finding the back of the net here.

The goals have dried up for Ten Hag's side and they've scored just three goals in their past four outings across all competition.

In addition, under 2.5 goals has landed in three of Fulham's last four encounters in both the league and Carabao Cup, and just four of their nine goals scored in the Premier League have come at Craven Cottage.
