The Premier League returns for midweek action on Tuesday night as Marco Silva’s Fulham host Sean Dyche’s relegation-threatened Everton, after both sides exited the FA Cup at home to top tier opposition.

The Cottagers were punished for their wastefulness in front of goal in a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle, while the Toffees succumbed to late Cauley Woodrow strike in their home loss to fellow league strugglers Luton.

Fulham vs Everton Betting Tips

  • Double Chance: Fulham or draw @ 2/5
  • Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5

Team News

Marco Silva will still be missing Fode Ballo-Toure, Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey as they remain at the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal and Nigeria, while Harry Wilson will be absent after a shoulder injury in his last outing and joins Adama Traore in the treatment room.

Sean Dyche has a fuller squad to select from but will still have a few enforced omissions, with midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye also at the AFCON and both Dele Alli and full back Ashley Young out with muscle injuries.

Match Odds

The Cottagers are the slight favourites to claim all three points at 13/10, whereas the Toffees are 7/4 to return to Merseyside with a victory.

The draw provides odds of 11/5, while Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the favourite to bag the first goal of the encounter at 11/2.

Double Chance: Fulham or draw @ 2/5

Both Fulham and Everton have struggled for goals and points in recent weeks, with neither side able to win more than one of their last five league games.

For Marco Silva, this dip in form has seen his side drop to within eight points of the relegation zone, but the Cottagers will have home advantage on their side on Tuesday, which they have more than made use out of this campaign.

Eighteen of the 24 points accrued by Fulham have come at Craven Cottage, and the expectation will be that another positive result can be achieved against an Everton side that has won just one of their last seven head-to-head meetings.

Two of these fixtures ended in a draw and, with both sides out of form, a draw may be the best that the Toffees can hope for, especially given that they have lost their last two away games.

Fulham or draw at 2/5

Under 2.5 goals @ 4/5

Neither Fulham nor Everton have been prolific in front of goal this season, with sides ranking in the bottom half for goals scored in the league.

Their lack of potency up top has forced their defences to pick up slack in grinding out results, leading to low-scoring encounters over recent weeks.

Four of the last five games featuring Fulham have seen two goals or fewer in all competitions, while three of Everton’s last four has seen no more than one strike find the back of the net.

Goals will likely be a premium in this encounter, with under 2.5 goals looking like a reasonable bet at 4/5.
