Fulham vs CrystalPalace

Fulham host Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Saturday (15:00), looking to bounce back from their weekend defeat to Liverpool, also on home soil. They welcome a Palace side that have won three games on the bounce, scoring eight goals in the process.

The Eagles supporters are starting to see what Oliver Glasner can offer them moving forward and after a disappointing campaign, their optimism for next term is rising. Momentum is with them as they head to west London this weekend, and I have laid out my Fulham vs Crystal Palace predictions below, accompanied by team news and match odds.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace

  • #PickYourPunt - Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze to score anytime @ 8/1
  • Over 3.5 goals @ 7/4

Match Odds

Fulham are 19/20 to end the Eagles' winning streak, giving them a 51.3% chance of victory. Crystal Palace are 5/2 to extend their run to four matches which gives them an implied probability of 28.6% to take the three points. The draw can be backed at 23/10 (30.3%).

Both teams to score is valued at 8/13, having landed in 47% (16/34) of Fulham's games this term, as well as in 64% (21/33) of Palace's. Over 2.5 goals is 8/11.

Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored eight Premier League goals in nine appearances under Glasner, and is priced at 6/1 to open the scoring.

Team News

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns heading into the weekend but Brazilian winger Willian remains a doubt to feature.

The visitors are going to be without Jefferson Lerma, Cheick Doucoure, Marc Guehi, Matheus Franca and Sam Johnstone due to injury.

#PickYourPunt - Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze to score anytime @ 8/1

The Eagles are soaring at the moment under Glasner and they will be fancying themselves to pick up another victory against a Fulham side that have lost three of their last four.

Two players who can help Palace to victory again are Mateta and Eberechi Eze, who have both been in great form of late. As mentioned above, Mateta has discovered his goalscoring touch under Glasner with eight goals in his last nine appearances.

Creative midfielder Eze has two goals in his last three outings, and together, they have played a key role in helping Glasner implement his ideas on the pitch.

Having now won three games on the spin, they are in line for a strong end to the season, and I fancy these two stars to have a huge role to play once again when they travel to Craven Cottage this weekend.

A bet builder consisting of both players to score at any point in the match pays out at 8/1, which is great value.

#PickYourPunt at 8/1 Over 3.5 goals @ 7/4

With goals expected from two of Palace's star players, I think that we can see a lot of goals in this match. Over 3.5 goals has been a winning bet in 39% (13/33) of the Eagles' top-flight clashes this season, and in 38% (13/34) of Fulham's fixtures.

Combined, Mateta and Eze have scored 19 goals in the league, but Fulham have a goalscorer of their own in Rodrigo Muniz, who has eight goals himself this campaign. He may have failed to score in his last four appearances but I think he could be in line for a return to the scoresheet as I expect a lot of goalmouth action in SW6.
