Forest Green narrowly avoided a first-round FA Cup exit at Flamingo Land Stadium at the start of November and they will be hoping to make use of that reprieve when facing Scarborough Athletic in the replay on Tuesday.

Alex Wiles scored what looked like to be the winner in the reverse fixture in Scarborough, only for Olly Sully to grab a dramatic equaliser in the 93rd minute and force a replay.

The Seadogs may have missed their opportunity to set up a second-round tie at Blackpool on December 2 and this could turn out to be a night of disappointment for them at The New Lawn.

Forest Green vs Scarborough Athletic Tips

  • Forest Green to win (90 minutes) @ 1/2
  • First Goal Time (10-minute intervals) - 1-10 @ 11/4

Match Odds

Forest Green are 1/2 favourites to pick up the win in normal time, with the draw priced at 7/2 and Scarborough the 9/2 outsiders to cause an upset.

The two teams played out a dramatic 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture and a repeat of that scoreline is available at 8/1.

It is 4/6 for both teams to score and 11/10 for that bet not to land, while over 2.5 goals in the match is on offer at 4/7.

Team News

After a 3-0 loss to Tranmere last time out, Forest Green head coach David Horseman is expected to tweak with his starting XI and this could see the likes of Charlie McCann, Sean Robertson and Teddy Jenks brought back in.

Centre-back Ryan Inniss is unavailable as he continues to recover from a stress fracture that has kept him sidelined since the middle of October.

Scarborough are sweating over the fitness of Kieran Weledji, who went off in the first half of Saturday's win at Alfreton Town, but the visitors do have Finlay Barnes available after more than a month on the sidelines.

Forest Green to win (90 minutes) @ 1/2

Having been the better side in the reverse fixture, the feeling here is that Scarborough passed up a golden opportunity to move into the second round and they are unlikely to get as much joy at The New Lawn.

Jonathan Greening's side have won five of their last six away matches across all competitions, so they need to be respected, but a trip to Forest Green is arguably one of the hardest road assignments they have had this season.

Rovers will have been extremely relieved to snatch a 1-1 draw at Flamingo Land Stadium and there will be no complacency from the side that are a couple of divisions above their opponents.

Horseman's troops have won two of their last four home fixtures and they have only lost once in 90 minutes during this run, suggesting their form at The New Lawn is starting to pick up.

First Goal Time (10-minute intervals) - 1-10 @ 11/4

Having seemingly underestimated Scarborough, Forest Green will be looking to make a fast start to this clash and there is every chance an early strike could be seen.

The first goal in Rovers' last two home League Two matches has come in the 1-10 minute period and the 11/4 on this to happen again offers good value.
