Football Bet of the Day: Fernandes to continue scoring run

Domestic club football takes a back seat for the time being as it's the international break, with plenty of action heading our way on Thursday.
My football bet of the day focuses on the Uefa Nations League match-up between Denmark and Portugal at Parken Stadium on Thursday night (19:45).
Football Bet of the Day - Thursday, March 20
- Bruno Fernandes to score anytime (vs Denmark) @ 3/1

Portugal's attacking talents failed to shine on the Euro 2024 stage last summer, where they were knocked out by France on penalties in the quarter-finals, after playing out a 0-0 draw.
They also required a shootout to advance past Slovenia in the round prior after another goalless 120 minutes, but Roberto Martinez's side seem to have rediscovered their touch in front of goal in the Nations League.
Portugal beat Poland 3-1 and 5-1 in their two respective encounters, while also claiming 2-1 victories against Croatia and Scotland.
A quarter-final clash against Denmark will pose a tough challenge, who had a sensational defensive record in qualifying for last summer's Euros, only conceding two goals in 10 wins.
However, like Portugal, Denmark were also underwhelming in Germany, drawing all three of their group games before suffering a 2-0 defeat against the hosts in the round of 16.
Portugal are favoured for Thursday's encounter at 23/20, giving them an implied win probability of 46.5%, with the Danes priced up at 12/5, and the same price is available for the draw - all 90 minute betting.
One man who I believe can make a difference for Portugal is Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes.
The United skipper inspired his side to a 3-0 win away at Leicester City last time out, scoring one goal and setting up the other two at the King Power Stadium.
That performance followed his brilliant free-kick against Arsenal the previous weekend, as well as his hat-trick in midweek against Real Sociedad in the Europa League - his second since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon.
The Portugal midfielder has been the talisman ever since arriving at Old Trafford in January 2020 and despite often being the victim of criticism, he always seems to produce when his team need him the most.
Fernandes has either scored or assisted a goal in six of his last seven club games and I think his price of 3/1 to score anytime on Thursday is an appealing one.
The 30-year-old racked up 16 shots at goal in five group-stage matches, scoring twice during that run, so he should pose a major threat to the Danish defence here.
