Wednesday night this week sees three Premier League matches take place, as well as key semi-finals in the DFB-Pokal and Coppa Italia. Below I have put together a set of Football Accumulator Tips for Wednesday, April 3 for you to consider.

Football Acca Tips - Wednesday, April 3

  • Arsenal to win and BTTS vs Luton @ 6/4
  • Brentford vs Brighton - BTTS @ 4/9
  • Aston Villa double chance vs Man City @ 5/2
  • Atalanta to beat Fiorentina @ 6/4
  • Bayer Leverkusen to beat Fortuna Dusseldorf and over 2.5 goals @ 1/2

Fivefold pays 46/1

Arsenal to win and BTTS vs Luton @ 6/4

Arsenal secured a creditable 0-0 draw at the Etihad Stadium on ‘not so’ Super Sunday, but now they will have to return to winning ways in their quest for the Premier League title. Luton are the visitors to the Emirates on Wednesday night, and although threatened by relegation, they have been scoring goals.

They’ve scored in their last 14 games in a row in all competitions, notching against Man City, Liverpool and Man Utd across that time span. I expect them to find the net again here, even in defeat.

Brentford vs Brighton - BTTS @ 4/9

I can’t pick a winner here but I am happy to pick out this Premier League clash to contain goals. Brentford created a plethora of chances against Manchester United yet somehow drew 1-1 last time out, while Brighton scored away at Anfield in their 2-1 defeat. Both sides are more than capable of finding the net again here, and this selection has landed in Brentford’s last five contests.

Aston Villa double chance vs Man City @ 5/2

Arsenal went to Manchester at the weekend and came away with a 0-0 draw. The next visitors to the Etihad are high-flying Aston Villa, and I believe Unai Emery’s men can also avoid defeat.

This is likely to be a far more open affair with goals aplenty, but with even without Ollie Watkins’ pace on the break, I think the away side can get something. City will be feeling the pressure of their title run-in, and Villa could cause them to drop more points here.

Atalanta to beat Fiorentina @ 6/4

Next we head over to Italy for the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals, where I believe Atalanta can secure an away win. They’ve been in terrific form in the last few weeks, drawing with Juventus, knocking Sporting CP out of the Europa League and hammering Napoli 3-0 last time out. That away victory was incredibly impressive and now I believe they can put one foot in the Coppa Italia final.

Fiorentina have been leaking goals of late, conceding two to Milan and Roma, and four across two games against Maccabi Haifa. Atalanta should be in good shape to take advantage of this weak defence in the cup.

Bayer Leverkusen to beat Fortuna Dusseldorf and over 2.5 goals @ 1/2

Another European cup semi-final, and one Bayer Leverkusen are heavy favourites for. The Bundesliga leaders now boast a massive 13-point lead over Bayern Munich and look destined to win the title. They host second-tier outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf, who have enjoyed a remarkable cup run, but could find life tough here. The hosts should win this one fairly comfortably, and score a few goals in the process.
