There is plenty of football taking place on Wednesday night across the Premier League and Championship, which always provides the opportunity to build a midweek accumulator.

I've picked out five matches on offer, with markets ranging from results and both teams to score, which pays out at an enticing 23/1. Below I have detailed my selections.

Football Accumulator Tips

  • Draw in Wolverhampton Wanderers vs AFC Bournemouth @ 23/10
  • Liverpool to beat Everton @ 4/11
  • Both teams to score in Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United @ 1/2
  • Both teams to score in Manchester United vs Sheffield United @ 8/13
  • Coventry City to beat Hull City @ 5/4

Draw in Wolverhampton Wanderers vs AFC Bournemouth @ 23/10

Wolverhampton Wanderers are enduring a horrible injury crisis which has derailed their end to the season. As you can expect their form has been disappointing of late, with their last win coming over a month ago. They have still been competitive in matches, but with options limited, they have struggled.

They host Bournemouth on Wednesday, who themselves have trailed off recently. After winning three on the spin, they have failed to win in their last three encounters, which makes me believe that this contest is set to be a stalemate at Molineux.

Liverpool to beat Everton @ 4/11

Liverpool are still in the Premier League title race and they cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to deny Manchester City a record-breaking fourth consecutive crown. The Reds picked up an impressive 3-1 win at Fulham over the weekend and will want to carry that momentum into the Merseyside derby at Everton.

The Toffees have just won a huge six-pointer against relegation rivals Nottingham Forest, which has moved them five points clear of the drop zone, but they still need to get themselves some extra security. I'm not expecting that to happen against their rivals, though, who are needing to build a winning run to keep themselves in contention for the title.

Both teams to score in Crystal Palace vs Newcastle United @ 1/2

Crystal Palace's attackers ran riot against West Ham United at the weekend as they won 5-2. Eberechi Eze, Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta were all on the scoresheet and they will have given Newcastle United, who have conceded 52 goals this season, a lot to think about as they travel to Selhurst Park.

The Magpies have a lot of quality attackers of their own in Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon and Harvey Barnes, so I think that we can expect goals at both ends in south London. BTTS has been a winning bet in 64% (21/33) of their matches in the top-flight this term.

Both teams to score in Manchester United vs Sheffield United @ 8/13

Manchester United just about got through to the FA Cup final after they defeated Coventry City on penalties at the weekend. It wasn't much of a triumph, though, as the Red Devils let slip a three-goal lead in the final 20 minutes of regulation time.

They will look to be more convincing when they host Sheffield United at Old Trafford in midweek, but I think that more trouble could lay in store for them. The Blades are getting closer to relegation with each passing week and their defeat to rivals Burnley last time out has only added another nail to the coffin.

However, they have been showing fight in the last few weeks and have been managing to get on the scoresheet in games. And against a United back line that only has one fit centre-back currently in Harry Maguire, Chris Wilder's attackers will be rubbing their hands together ahead of the trip to Manchester.

United should have no issues themselves in scoring against a team that has leaked 88 goals in 33 matches this campaign.

Coventry City to beat Hull City @ 5/4

Coventry will be hung up over their FA Cup heartbreak but they still have an outside shot of finishing in the Championship play-off places with two games in hand on both West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City, who are fifth and sixth respectively.

The Sky Blues are nine points adrift of the play-offs and will need to win their games in hand to have a shot at another play-off campaign, while hoping the teams above them falter. I'm expecting them to bounce back against rivals Hull City, who need to win to keep their own play-off ambitions alive, at the CBS Arena, as they are going to cheered on by a crowd who are incredibly proud of their Wembley performance.

I think they will channel that into their final run-in in the league and will get off to a flying start against the Tigers.
