Wednesday brings us the second legs of two gargantuan Champions League clashes as Manchester City host Real Madrid and Bayern Munich welcome Arsenal. Elsewhere, Rangers look to get back on track in the Scottish Premiership after losing to Ross County last time out. They now face a trip to Dundee. And in the Women's Super League, Chelsea host Aston Villa, looking to match leaders Manchester City's points total of 46.

From these four games we have put together a result accumulator, which pays out at an enticing 16/1. Below we have detailed our reasonings for these particular football accumulator tips.

Football Acca Tips: Wednesday April 17

  • Draw in Manchester City vs Real Madrid @ 16/5
  • Arsenal to beat Bayern Munich @ 15/8
  • Rangers to beat Dundee @ 1/4
  • Chelsea Women to beat Aston Villa Women @ 1/6

Football acca pays at 16.6/1

Draw in Manchester City vs Real Madrid @ 16/5

No one was really surprised to see these two European powerhouses cancel each other out at the Santiago Bernabeu last week in their Champions League quarter-final first leg. It was a gripping 3-3 draw in the Spanish capital, with some cracking goals on display, notably from Manchester City's Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol.

Attention now turns to the Etihad Stadium for part two, and we're sure most neutrals will be asking for more of the same in east Manchester. There is so much quality among both their ranks that we feel that there is not a lot to separate them, at least in normal time.

We fancy the second leg to end in a draw after 90 minutes, once again taking these two clubs to extra time for the second time in the last three years in Europe's most prestigious cup competition. Who doesn't want another 30 minutes and maybe a penalty shoot-out between these two excellent football teams?

Arsenal to beat Bayern Munich @ 15/8

This is sure to be another interesting battle. Bayern Munich have failed to win the Bundesliga title for the first time in over a decade as Bayer Leverkusen were crowned at the weekend. As for Arsenal, a poor performance and defeat at home to Aston Villa has seen them lose precious ground in the Premier League title race.

The Gunners were able to salvage a draw at home to Bayern in the first leg last week, and they will be looking to bounce back from their recent league setback, as of course will Bayern. The German giants will want to come out of this campaign with some degree of success and the Champions League is all they have left to fight for, so Arsenal can expect another tough match on their hands.

However, after altering his attack and midfield against Villa, which didn't work, Mikel Arteta may go back to the group which had the Gunners flying in recent weeks, and who can get Arsenal past this downbeat Bayern side.

Rangers to beat Dundee @ 1/4

Speaking of losing ground in a title race, Scottish Premiership side Rangers were left stunned as they lost to 11th-placed Ross County at the weekend, slipping four points behind bitter rivals Celtic. The Gers head to Dundee in midweek in what is their game in hand and they will be desperate to reduce that deficit to just a point, so that they keep themselves in contention for this year's crown.

The players will be pumped up for this one after the horror show last time out, and we are expecting them to show a lot more composure on the pitch against Dundee, which should see them get back to winning ways and in line for one last push to the line against the Bhoys.

Chelsea Women to beat Aston Villa Women @ 1/6

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes is in her final few weeks of being in charge of the London club, as she moves on to pastures new in the summer. Having won six Women's Super League titles with the Blues, she will want to end her incredible reign on a high and notch number seven this year.

They currently find themselves three points off the pace of league leaders Man City, but they do have a game in hand on Gareth Taylor's side, which will come against Tottenham Hotspur just before the final weekend of the season. Up next for them is Aston Villa on home soil, and they will be seeking yet another victory while hoping that Man City slip up against West Ham United on Sunday.

Momentum is with them having won three on the bounce, while Villa have found consistency to be an issue this term. This should be another routine victory for Hayes' side at Kingsmeadow.
