Saturday’s football action is set to be utterly spectacular as League 1 and League 2 reach their conclusions and the Premier League returns to our screens. We’ve focused on England’s top four football divisions for our Football Accumulator Tips this Saturday, to produce an accumulator which is priced at a whopping 154/1.

Football Accumulator Tips - Saturday April 27

  • Everton to beat Brentford
  • Aston Villa to beat Chelsea
  • Norwich to beat Swansea
  • Millwall to beat Plymouth
  • Sheff Wed to beat West Brom
  • Cheltenham to beat Stevenage
  • Colchester vs Crewe - Draw

Accumulator pays 154/1

Everton to beat Brentford

Let’s crack straight into this. Everton took a giant step towards Premier League survival in midweek as they beat Liverpool 2-0, and I think they can back it up with another win at the weekend. The Goodison Park crowd will want to roar their side onto success, and although Brentford have won their last two - they’ve been against Luton and Sheffield United. Home win.

Aston Villa to beat Chelsea

Chelsea are all over the place at the minute, after an embarrassing 5-0 defeat to Arsenal in midweek. They don’t appear to have a blueprint for success and the players don’t seem to care that much, from the outside at least. Villa meanwhile are the complete opposite. They have something to play for, and all sights are set on a top four finish. They should be able to put Chelsea to the sword.

Norwich to beat Swansea

Norwich at Carrow Road are simply phenomenal. They’ve won 15 out of 22 on home soil, and it is their home form that has carried them into the top six. They perhaps just need one more win to secure a play-off place, and they will target three points here, with a tricky-looking clash away at Birmingham on the final day. Swansea have improved recently, but they will find life tough in East Anglia.

Millwall to beat Plymouth

Plymouth are in trouble. They were beaten 3-0 by Stoke last weekend and are in desperate need of results, but they’ve been hard to come by away from Home Park. Millwall have won their last three on the bounce and are now safe from relegation. Neil Harris has got his side winning matches and now they can have a party in front of a sell-out crowd. Home win.

Sheff Wed to beat West Brom

A potential shock looking at the table, but one that makes a lot of sense in my eyes. Sheffield Wednesday are out of the bottom three for the first time this season, and they’ve been brilliant under Danny Rohl. They are just one point above Birmingham with two to play, and this is their final home match at Hillsborough so three points are much-needed. WBA are out of form, and have only beaten Rotherham in their last six. They are limping into the play-offs, and this fixture could be a banana skin.

Cheltenham to beat Stevenage

Stevenage have slipped out of the play-off picture, but the real hammer blow came last week as influential manager Steve Evans left for Rotherham United. Stevenage lost last time out and it feels like their bubble has burst. They now travel to Cheltenham, who have to win to give themselves a chance of survival. I think that the importance of this game will give the home side the edge. They simply have to win.

Colchester vs Crewe - Draw

A cheeky addition to round off our accumulator. Colchester need a point to guarantee survival, while Crewe need a point to finish in the play-offs. We saw something similar with Coventry and Morecambe a few years ago, where both sides played out a 0-0 draw and I can see the same thing happening here.
