We’ve got loads of football action coming our way on Saturday afternoon from across the country, and so I’ve put together an accumulator to hopefully land us a winner. The games are running out for the teams at the bottom, and it means we could see some big-priced shocks this weekend. Check out my Football Accumulator Tips for Saturday, April 26, down below.

Football Accumulator Tips - Saturday, April 26

Wolves to beat Leicester City

Let’s start in the Premier League where only one game catches my eye. Leicester City, relegated last weekend, travel to in-form Wolves and although the hosts are just 8/15 to take the points, I think they are well worth adding into our acca.

Leicester have been utterly hopeless under Ruud van Nistelrooy, picking up just one point in their last 10 league matches, and scoring two goals over that time. I don’t think confirmed relegation will improve them and they’ve been so far off it in terms of quality this season.

Any relegation worries that Wolves had have been blown away by an astonishing run of five league wins on the bounce, including a 1-0 success last time out at Old Trafford. They shouldn’t have any trouble brushing aside this weak Leicester outfit that has picked up just nine away points this term.

Blackburn Rovers to beat Watford

Well I didn’t think I’d be backing Blackburn Rovers again this season, but here we are. Valerien Ismael had a difficult start after replacing John Eustace, but Blackburn have now found some form, winning their last three games. The 4-1 home success over play-off chasers Millwall was incredibly impressive and they beat Sunderland away on Easter Monday.

It gives them a slim chance of finishing in the top six, and they will fancy their chances when they host Watford at Ewood Park. The Hornets have lost their last three games and their season looks to be ending with a whimper, with the focus already turning towards next campaign. Ismael will hope to get another win against his former club.

Derby County to beat Hull City

A pulsating relegation six-pointer is coming our way from the MKM Stadium on Saturday, and I’m going to back the away side to come out with a massive three points. Derby County have looked superb under John Eustace on the whole, and they’ve now got a real chance at survival. They sit outside the bottom three on goal difference and have two favourable fixtures remaining, away at Hull and at home to Stoke City.

The Rams beat West Brom 3-1 away from home last time out and Hull have the worst home record in the division, having accumulated just 23 points from 22 home matches so far. Ruben Selles is a talented coach but they’ve only won two of their last seven, and one of those came against Preston last time out - a team that are sleepwalking into trouble. I’ll back the Rams on this occasion at a decent price.

Charlton Athletic to beat Wrexham

League 1’s biggest game this weekend is on Sky Sports Main Event at 17:30 as second-placed Wrexham host Charlton Athletic. The Welsh side could secure promotion to the Championship with a win here, if Wycombe fail to get three points in their game, while Charlton know that only three points will keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.

The Addicks are four points behind Wrexham, meaning a win would take it to the final day. Charlton have amazingly won 15 of their last 20 matches, which has fired them into the play-off picture, and perhaps beyond. With Matty Godden scoring goals and Nathan Jones at the helm, I think this season can end in promotion one way or another.

I also believe they will go to Wrexham and win. The Welsh side have only won two of their last five and look to be slowly edging their way to promotion. They may secure it on the final day, but I think they will lose this one, with chance creation a problem in recent weeks.
