Another weekend filled with football awaits us and I for one cannot wait. There are some cracking games in store across the Football League and I think this calls for an accumulator.

Draw - Millwall vs Hull City @ 9/4

I've been brave with my opening selection, but as they say, fortune favours the bold. Some people believe including draws in accas does not bode well, but I have a good feeling here.

Millwall facing Hull City in the Championship screams a drab affair on paper. The Lions are 14th in the table and the Tigers are 22nd, and are at great risk of relegation this year. The home side may be sitting more comfortably than their opponents right now but they have both found consistency an issue this term.

Wins have been hard to come by for them both and Millwall have failed to win in each of their last four league appearances. Hull are two games without a win but they have shown recently that they cannot build on a victory when it comes around. Recent triumphs over Swansea City and Blackburn Rovers were followed by defeats to Preston North End and Middlesbrough respectively.

They did pick up an impressive 3-3 draw against promotion favourites Leeds United last time out, though, which could set them up nicely for their trip to The Den. Millwall have drawn two of their last three fixtures in the second tier but have lost three of their last four on home soil.

Here you have two unpredictable teams coming up against one another, which may be viewed as a game to avoid, but to me it feels like a match destined for a stalemate - which was precisely the outcome when they met earlier in the campaign on Humberside.

Sheffield United to beat Norwich City (H) @ 23/20

Sticking in the Championship, I am backing Sheffield United to get back on track at Bramall Lane against Norwich City, having failed to win in their previous two league encounters on home turf.

The Blades ended a three-game streak without a win with a victory at Watford in their last appearance, and Chris Wilder will be pushing his side to regain momentum in their promotion push.

They welcome a Canaries side who are unbeaten in their last four league games but who have lost four of their previous seven on the road in the second tier. Norwich are another side who have tended to blow hot and cold this season, which is what makes their recent spell more impressive. Norwich will be without their star man Borja Sainz for this clash due to suspension, which could have a massive effect on their attacking impetus.

It was already going to be a tough affair, even if Sainz was available. The Blades have been beaten just once at Bramall Lane in the Championship, which came on Boxing Day against promotion rivals Burnley. They have won nine of their last 11 here, though, and I expect Wilder will inspire his players to get back to winning ways in S2.

Birmingham City to beat Exeter City (H) @ 3/10

Sliding down to League 1 now where we have leaders Birmingham City hosting Exeter City at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park on Saturday. The Blues are unbeaten in their latest nine outings in the third tier and seven of them have seen them emerge victorious.

On top of this, they are yet to taste defeat at home in the league in 11 appearances. Stronger teams than Exeter have tried to disrupt the promotion favourites in B9, but the Blues have shown their resilience in their own backyard.

Birmingham are two points clear at the summit and boast two games in hand on their closest challengers in Wycombe Wanderers and Wrexham, with the Blues facing Wrexham in Wales next Thursday - talk about a huge clash.

Chris Davies and his players will look to head into that match with confidence, and they can do that by beating Exeter this weekend. The Grecians have lost four of their last five games on the road in League 1 and head to the second city off the back of consecutive defeats in the third tier.

Huddersfield Town to beat Blackpool (A) @ 6/4

Since losing to Birmingham at St Andrew's back at the start of October, Huddersfield Town have gone 15 games unbeaten in League 1, winning 10 of them. The Terriers look primed for a charge at the automatic promotion spots and are just four points behind Wycombe and Wrexham.

They will look to reduce the gap further when they travel to Blackpool this weekend. The Tangerines have drawn four of their last five in the league and have gone a month without a victory.

Goals have been hard to come by in that time so I fancy Huddersfield to head to Bloomfield Road and collect another important three points on the road.

Barnsley to beat Bristol Rovers (A) @ 5/6

Another team in this division going well at the moment are Barnsley, who are one place behind Huddersfield in the standings. Darrell Clarke's side have won four games on the spin in the league to strengthen their play-off hopes and they will be gunning for another victory against struggling Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

The Pirates are getting used to the methods of new boss Inigo Calderon and they were able to pick up an important win against fellow strugglers Cambridge United in their last league appearance. They will face a much tougher contest in the Tykes, however, who head south with plenty of confidence.

I fancy the visitors to make it six in a row, especially as they have also won three away games on the bounce.

AFC Wimbledon to beat Tranmere Rovers (H) @ 4/7

Our football accumulator draws to a close in League 2, as promotion-chasing AFC Wimbledon entertain relegation-threatened Tranmere Rovers. The Dons have won three of their last four matches in the fourth tier, and they are unbeaten in their four latest encounters on home soil.

Wimbledon also boast the psychological boost of having beaten Tranmere away from home this season, which came back in November. The visitors head here with a torrid record on the road and have lost each of their last six away fixtures in the league.

It's hard to see that form changing against a side fighting at the top end of the table, so I'm backing a home win.
