There are some interesting battles coming our way across the top four leagues of English football on Saturday, and I think there is value to be had in putting together a results-based accumulator.

I've hand-picked four matches from across the Premier League, Championship and League 1 and together, they combine to pay out at an enticing price of 6.9/1. Read on to find out my Football Accumulator Tips for Saturday, April 12.

Brighton & Hove Albion to beat Leicester City (H) @ 2/7

We start in the Premier League as Brighton & Hove Albion welcome Leicester City to the Amex Stadium. The hosts have won three of their last four home games in. the top flight heading into the weekend, and they face a Leicester side who look like they have given up in their quest to avoid relegation.

The Foxes have set a record for eight consecutive defeats without scoring ahead of their trip to Sussex and it is hard to see their fortunes changing on Saturday. Brighton are within touching distance of the European spots and a victory here could help pull them closer towards the top six.

They may have suffered two defeats in a row but they are facing one of the worst teams in the division at home, so three points should be routine for them here.

Aston Villa to beat Southampton (A) @ 4/7

Staying on the South Coast, we next head to St Mary's where already-relegated Southampton entertain Aston Villa. The visitors have been given a huge task in the second leg of their Uefa Champions League quarter-final with Paris Saint-Germain after slipping to a 3-1 defeat at Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

Unai Emery's side have still got work to do if they are to secure their place in next year's UCL via the Premier League. The Villans are seventh but just two points shy of Newcastle United in fifth, which is the threshold for Champions League qualification this season.

Southampton are already thinking about next season and Ivan Juric has left his post. This should be a relatively smooth victory for Villa, but the Saints have had a habit of bringing BTTS (both teams to score) to the table in recent weeks.

Luton Town to beat Blackburn Rovers (H) @ 10/11

In the Championship, Luton Town are still fighting for their lives as they try to avoid a second consecutive relegation. They host Blackburn Rovers at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

The Hatters' form has been improving under Matt Bloomfield and they are unbeaten in their last five matches. Blackburn fought from two goals down to draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday but they have won just one of their previous eight away trips in the second tier.

Luton are currently two points off safety and they are in far greater need of the points at the weekend. The home advantage should help them accomplish this.

Wrexham to beat Wigan Athletic (A) @ 21/20

We wrap things up down in League 1, with focus on promotion hopefuls Wrexham. Should they fail to beat Wigan Athletic in Lancashire on Saturday, they will hand the league title to Birmingham City.

I don't think this will happen as the Red Dragons have won four of their past five games in the league, and Wigan are a club hovering just seven points above the drop zone. Wrexham have also triumphed in six of their previous eight away fixtures in the third tier, so they have plenty of momentum coming into this clash.

The Latics are without a win in their last four matches and Wrexham's form and attacking roster should be too much for them on Saturday.
