Football Accumulator Tips: Flu feature in Tuesday four-fold

Tuesday's Football Accumulator Tips has a South American feel to it, with at least one team from the continent represented in all but one of my four selections. We have second-division action to take in from Ecuador and Brazil, while Fluminense, flying the flag for the latter, feature as they take on Chelsea in the semi-finals of the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup.
Additionally, there is a match from the Uefa Women's European Championship, as Germany face Denmark in Switzerland.

Match Result - Germany Women (N) to beat Denmark Women (17:00, BBC Two) @ 1/3
After failing to make the breakthrough before the interval against Poland last Friday, Germany stepped up a gear or two in the second half, scoring twice in the first 21 minutes to ease to a 2-0 victory in their opening game of Euro 2025.
Next up for DFB-Frauenteam is a Group C game against Denmark, who lost 1-0 to Sweden in their opening encounter, marking a third defeat in their last four following a 3-0 loss to Italy and a 6-1 thrashing by Sweden, either side of a 1-0 win against Wales, all in the Uefa Nations League earlier this year.
Denmark's form is in stark contrast to Germany, who have won their last six matches and are unbeaten since December 2, when they lost 2-1 to Italy in a friendly. Their last competitive defeat, in regulation time, came last July, at the 2024 Summer Olympics in France (1-4 vs USA).
Germany have kept three consecutive clean sheets, while Denmark have blanked in two of their last four, and I can see the former living up to their favourites tag on Tuesday, picking up all three points at Swissporarena in Luzern, Switzerland.
Total Goals - Under 2.5 in Fluminense vs Chelsea (20:00 BST, DAZN/Betfred) @ 8/11
Over in the USA, Fluminense and Chelsea clash in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup, with this final-four tie taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Few expected Flu to advance to the latter stages of this competition, but after finishing as runners-up to Borussia Dortmund in Group F, the Brazilian side shocked Inter Milan 2-0 in the last 16 and then beat Al Hilal 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
Chelsea, meanwhile, suffered disappointment in the group stage, with Flamengo beating the Blues 3-1 to clinch top spot in Group D. Enzo Maresca's side were perhaps fortunate, though, that Benfica, and not Bayern Munich, finished first in Group C, and after labouring to a 1-1 draw in regulation time against the Portuguese powerhouses in the last 16, Chelsea, aided by their opponents going down to 10 men, went on to win 4-1 after extra time.
Palmeiras were lying in wait in the quarter-finals, but the Premier League giants overcame the challenge of another Brazilian side, winning 2-1 to set up this contest with Flu.
Only two of Chelsea's five games at this year's Club World Cup have seen two or fewer goals scored in regulation time, but for Flu, it's three in five. They beat Ulsan Hyundai 4-2 and Al Hilal 2-1, but ground out a couple of goalless draws against Dortmund and Mamelodi Sundowns, and overcame Inter 2-0.
Three clean sheets is impressive, and it's now five in their last seven across all competitions, pointing to a well-organised outfit.
Chelsea have kept a couple of clean sheets this summer, and in two of the three matches where they failed to record a shutout, they only conceded once.
Given the records of these teams, and the fact that this is a semi-final of a major competition, with a lot of money on the line for the winner, I'm expecting a closely-fought contest on Tuesday, with goals likely at a premium, so I'm backing under 2.5 in regulation time.

Total Goals - Under 2.5 in Gualaceo vs Cumbaya (21:30 BST) @ 1/2
We move to the Ecuadorian second division, where Serie B rivals Gualaceo and Cumbaya meet at the Estadio Jorge Andrade in Azogues.
Once again, I am tipping under 2.5 goals, chiefly because of the visiting team, Cumbaya, whose league games this season average just two goals.
Their last four matches have produced a combined three strikes, with a 1-0 defeat to 22 de Julio and a goalless draw with Leones del Norte, followed by 1-0 wins against Imbabura (A) and Nueve de Octubre (H).
Under 2.5 goals has landed in 68.75% (11) of their 16 contests, including five of their last seven, and the last three on their travels.
By contrast, Gualaceo's games average 2.68 goals, but still, half (eight) of their Serie B matches have seen two or fewer scored, and their head-to-head with Cumbaya earlier this season finished with two, as they won 2-0 in Quito.
The visitors are in good form, unbeaten in their last three matches, the most recent two of which they have won, while Gualaceo have triumphed just once in their last six games, so I'm confident Cumbaya can make things difficult for an opponent three places and five points higher in the table.
Match Result - Goias EC (H) to beat Criciuma EC (23:30 BST) @ 4/5
Staying in South America, we go to Brazil for another second-tier contest between Goias EC and Criciuma EC, who face off at the Estadio da Serrinha in Goiania.
Goias are currently second in Serie B, a point behind leaders Coritiba, but with a game in hand on their league rivals, who aren't in action next until Friday.
Tuesday's hosts suffered back-to-back defeats in June, losing 2-0 at CRB before suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to Athletic Club, but they recovered to beat Chapecoense 2-1 in Chapeco on June 29, and it's now four wins in their last six games, and seven in their last 10.
Criciuma were in Serie A last season, impressing in the first part of the campaign with Yannick Bolasie spearheading the attack, but following relegation, they saw several key players, including the former Crystal Palace star, depart, and they've struggled to adjust to life back in the second division.
Tigre have lost six of their first 14 league games this year, and sit 16th, just a point above the relegation zone, ahead of their Tuesday trip to Goiania. Their away form has been particularly brutal, with just five points to show for their efforts across six matches (W1, D2, L3); only Volta Redonda and Amazonas (both two) have collected fewer points on their travels.
Goias, meanwhile, are a formidable outfit on home soil, winning five of their seven games (W5, D1, L1) at the Estadio da Serrinha this term, and will expect to make it six from nine this week.
