Poland to win vs Finland
There is chaos off the pitch for Poland, with Robert Lewandowski retiring from the national team after being stripped of the captaincy following his withdrawal from the June squad.
Fortunately for the Eagles, Lewandowski’s absence did not stop them beating Moldova last time out and they should make it four wins on the spin in Helsinki on Tuesday.
Finland have lost their last four matches in front of their own fans, and three of their last four home meetings with Poland have ended in defeat.
They are justified underdogs against an away side that have won their last three fixtures.
Both teams to score in Romania vs Cyprus
Romania are odds-on favourites to take the points against Cyprus, but the underdogs have been in decent goalscoring form recently and should give the home defence something to think about.
Cyprus scored twice away to Bulgaria last week and have found the net in each of their last five matches, while Romania have conceded in four of their last five, including against minnows San Marino in March.
Both teams have scored in three of the last four meetings between these sides, so expect the same in Bucharest.
Andorra +4 handicap vs Serbia
Serbia are overwhelming favourites to take all three points against minnows Andorra, but the margin of victory may be smaller than many expect in Leskovac.
Andorra only lost 1-0 at home to England last week and haven’t lost by more than three goals since a trip to Spain this time last year.
That was only the second time in 36 games that they have lost by four or more goals, while Serbia have only scored seven goals in their last 12 matches and haven’t won by four or more goals since a trip to Bahrain in 2022.
Bolivia to win vs Chile
Nestled in the Andes, Bolivia are yet to lose in their new home in El Alto, situated over 4,000 metres above sea level.
This is some 560 metres higher than their previous home in La Paz, which is the highest capital city in the world.
They have beaten Colombia and Venezuela here before draws against Paraguay and Uruguay, while rock-bottom Chile head to Bolivia winless in five away games.
They have lost three of their last four trips and have failed to score in each of these games, so expect La Verde to continue their excellent form in El Alto.
