Both Teams to Score - Yes in Bayern Munich vs Tottenham Hotspur (17:30 BST) @ 4/11
Tottenham Hotspur conclude their preparations for the new campaign with a pre-season friendly against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Thursday. Thomas Frank will be hoping to maintain his unbeaten start to life at Spurs after winning two and drawing three of his first five games in charge, with one of those victories a north London derby success against Arsenal (1-0) in Hong Kong.
Bayern, on the other hand, only played their first pre-season friendly last Saturday due to a late finish to the previous season. Vincent Kompany's charges edged Olympique Lyonnais out 2-1 in Bavaria, with Michael Olise coming off the bench and bagging a brace.
This will be the third meeting between these sides since the start of last August, as they played twice in the space of a week in the build-up to the 2024/25 campaign. Bayern won both games, securing a 2-1 success in Seoul, South Korea, before Harry Kane made his return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a 3-2 victory for the German giants.
Both teams scored in both matches, and BTTS-Yes landed for the two sides last weekend, with Spurs drawing 1-1 with Newcastle United at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
With plenty of firepower in both squads, I'm confident we will see goals in this game, at least one on either side.
Both Teams to Score - Yes in Panathinaikos vs Shakhtar Donetsk (19:00 BST) @ 4/7
Likewise, I fancy both teams to score in the first leg of Panathinaikos' Europa League third-round qualifying tie with Shakhtar Donetsk, which takes place at the Olympic Stadium of Athens in Greece.
Panathinaikos have dropped down from the second round of Uefa Champions League qualifying, where they were beaten 3-1 over two legs by Rangers. In Glasgow, the Greeks suffered a 2-0 defeat, and despite taking the lead in the return fixture, they ended up drawing 1-1, consigning them to European club football's second-tier competition, but Shakhtar now stand in their way.
The Ukrainians upset the odds in Turkey against Besiktas, beating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side 4-2 in the first leg of their Europa League second-round qualifying tie before triumphing 2-0 in their 'home' game in Krakow, Poland.
After netting four times in Istanbul, Shakhtar will back themselves to find the net in Athens, with the likes of their two-goal hero in the first leg, Kevin, and another goalscorer that game, Alisson, sure to pose more than a few problems for Panathinaikos on Thursday.
The Shamrock scored in seven of their eight European home ties last season, though, and will be confident themselves of scoring this week, so BTTS-Yes looks like the best bet here.

To Win to Nil - FCSB (H) To Win to Nil vs KF Drita (19:30 BST) @ 1/1
Staying with the Europa League third qualifying round, FCSB host KF Drita at Arena Nationale in Bucharest, where the Romanian side recorded three European clean sheets last season, against Virtus (4-0) in the Champions League first qualifying round, and FC Midtjylland (2-0) and Olympiakos (0-0) in the league phase of the Europa League, as they made their way to the last 16 of the latter competition before being knocked out 7-1 on aggregate by Olympique Lyonnais.
FCSB made it past the first round of Champions League qualifying again this year, but were undone 3-1 on aggregate in the second round by Shkendija, and as a result, have been relegated to the Europa League qualifiers.
They've lost their last four games across all competitions, which is a worrying run of results ahead of Thursday's first-leg tie against Drita.
However, their Kosovan counterparts come into this contest on the back of a 3-0 aggregate defeat to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League, where they barely laid a glove on the Danes, particularly away from home (2-0), where just one of their five efforts at goal hit the target.
I don't see Drita causing too much trouble for FCSB in Bucharest, where the Red and Blues should win and keep their sheet clean.
To Win to Nil - SK Rapid Wien (H) To Win to Nil vs Dundee United (20:00, BBC Scotland) @ 1/1
Moving down to the Conference League third-round qualifiers, SK Rapid Wien take on Dundee United at the Allianz Stadion in Vienna.
Rapid have made a great start to the new season, beating Decic home (4-2) and away (0-2) in the second round of qualifying, as well as overcoming Innsbruck (0-1) in the OFB Cup and BW Linz (1-0) in their opening Austrian Bundesliga outing.
Dundee United drew their first Scottish Premiership game this term, 1-1 away to Falkirk, but their 1-0 home and away victories over UNA Strassen in the second round of Conference League qualifying were hardly convincing, on the back of four pre-season friendlies without a win and just three goals.
Scoring was a big issue for the Tangerines in 2024/25 as they struck just 45 times in the Premiership, with only relegated sides St. Johnstone (38) and Ross County (37) netting fewer over 38 games.
Rapid beat Turkish team Trabzonspor 2-0 at home in the second qualifying round last season and recorded shutouts in half (three) of their league phase matches, two of which came at home in victories over FC Noah (1-0) and FC Copenhagen (3-0). They made the quarter-finals of the competition, only losing out after extra time against Djurgarden, and will be desperate to make the knockouts again in 2025/26.
A home win to nil here, for me.
