Football Accumulator Tips: 18/1 four-fold for Thursday’s action

There's plenty of footy action to get your teeth stuck into on Thursday, but the main focus of my football accumulator tips comes from the Fifa Club World Cup over in the USA.

I have put together a 18/1 four-fold for you to consider, and you can find my selections below, which kick off at 17:00 BST.

Today's Football Fixtures

Palmeiras to beat Al Ahly @ 4/7

My first pick comes from the 17:00 kick off between Palmeiras and Al Ahly. Both sides played out goalless draws in their respective Club World Cup openers, so they'll be desperate to get a first win on the board here.

The Brazilians managed to keep Porto at bay in their first game, and it could be argued they were a touch unlucky not to take all three points, as Claudio Ramos was in fine form between the Porto sticks.

Meanwhile, Al Ahly shared the spoils with Inter Miami, and they'll be kicking themselves with that result, as they spurned a number of quality chances, as well as missing a penalty.

Although this could be a tight encounter, I'm backing Palmeiras to get the better of Al Ahly on Thursday - the Brazilian side won 2-0 when the two teams last locked horns in 2022.

Porto to beat Inter Miami and over 2.5 goals @ 13/10

As mentioned above, Inter Miami rode their luck against Al Ahly in their opening tussle, and I'm expecting that luck to run out against Porto.

It was Oscar Ustari who stole the headlines for Miami with a brilliant performance in goal, but he'll need further support from his defence here as the Herons have shipped 24 goals across their last 10 encounters.

Porto should have won their opening match, and I suspect that they'll have too much quality for their opponents here. In addition, nine of Inter Miami's last 10 games have seen over 2.5 goals land.

Atletico Madrid to beat Seattle Sounders and both teams to score @ 15/8

Atletico Madrid are no doubt reeling from their 4-0 loss to European champions Paris Saint-Germain in their Club World Cup opener, and Diego Simone's men simply have to get back in the win column here.

Seattle lost 2-1 to Botafogo in their opening match, but posted an xG of 2.18, so they're clearly a side who can create chances. The Sounders have scored 18 times across eight home games in MLS this season, but they've lost their last three contests.

So, I believe that the Spanish side will be too strong here and can inflict another defeat on Seattle, who'll manage to get on the scoresheet.

PSG to win to nil against Botafogo @ 5/6

As mentioned above, the newly-crowned Champions League winners overpowered Atleti in that 4-0 thumping, and I'm anticipating another comfortable 90 minutes in the early hours of Friday morning for Luis Enrique's side.

I've just touched on it in the previous tip, but Botafogo's victory over Seattle was essentially a smash-and-grab as the Brazilian outfit generated an xG of just 0.9 in comparison to the Sounders' 2.18.

The French side should have no issues in keeping Botafogo quiet here - they've won their last three games to nil, while the Brazilians have scored once across six away trips domestically this term.
