Neom SC vs Al-Akhdoud (19:00 BST) - Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 5/6
Saudi Pro League newbies Neom made a losing start to life in the top flight, suffering a 1-0 defeat to 2025 AFC Champions League winners Al-Ahli on August, but they secured their first points of the season last Sunday as they beat Damac 2-1 in Abha.
Next up for Christophe Galtier's charges is a first SPL home game against Al-Akhdoud on Thursday. Al-Akhdoud, who finished 15th in the 18-team league last season, avoiding relegation by a single point, have started off poorly in 2025/26, losing their first two matches, both at home, against Al-Ittihad (2-5) and Al-Taawon (2-3).
Paulo Sergio's side haven't encountered any issues in front of the opposition's goal so far, netting twice in each of their opening two fixtures, but they've been leaking at the back, shipping a league-high eight goals.
Neom are also yet to keep a clean sheet, conceding once in each of their first two games.
Both teams to score, then, looks enticing in this fixture at 5/6.
Manchester United Women vs Brann Women (19:00 BST, MUTV) - Manchester United Women to Win @ 1/4
Manchester United lost the first leg of their Uefa Champions League qualification tie against Brann last week, suffering a 1-0 defeat in Norway, but hopes are high that the Red Devils can turn things around at Leigh Sports Village on Thursday.
Man United enjoyed more possession, topped the shots, shots on target and corner count in Bergen, but were hit by a 77th-minute suckerpunch from Ingrid Stenevik.
Back on home soil, and with a chance to secure a place in the main Women's Champions League draw for the first time in their history, I'm expecting Marc Skinner's side to come out on top in the reverse fixture.
They've made a great start in this season's Women's Super League, thrashing Leicester City 4-0 at home before battering London City Lionesses 5-1 away on Sunday.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Eintracht Frankfurt vs Galatasaray (20:00 BST, TNT Sports 5) - Eintracht to Win & BTTS @ 11/5
Eintracht's league phase games in the Uefa Europa League last season averaged three goals (14 scored, 10 conceded), while Gala's averaged 4.4 (19 scored, 16 conceded).
Both teams scored in half (four) of the Bundesliga club's matches, and all of the Super Lig side's; BTTS-Yes then landed in all four of Gala's knockout games, and three of Eintracht's four.
While Gala have won their first five league contests this term, keeping a clean sheet in all but one, they have yet to be truly tested, as they haven't faced any of last season's top five teams.
Eintracht, meanwhile, have scored and conceded in all three Bundesliga outings, beating Werder Bremen (H) 4-1 and Hoffenheim (A) 3-1 before falling to a 3-1 defeat at Leverkusen last Friday.
Goals are likely at Deutsche Bank Park, but I'm backing Eintracht to grab at least one more than their Turkish counterparts.
Gala were poor travellers in Europe last season, losing 3-2 at Swiss side Young Boys in a Champions League play-off tie before failing to win any of their five away matches in the Europa League, losing the final two in the Netherlands to Ajax (2-1) and AZ Alkmaar (4-1).
Eintracht won three of their four UEL league phase home games, with only Viktoria Plzen (3-3) able to take points off Die Adler.
Newcastle vs Barcelona (20:00 BST, TNT Sports 1) - Newcastle to Win (2 Up Early Payout) @ 7/4
Arguably the standout UCL tie on Thursday, Newcastle United host Barcelona at St James' Park, 28 years and one day after beating the Catalan club 3-2 there in the first-ever meeting between the sides. Barca won the reverse fixture 1-0 in November 1997 and did the double over the English outfit in the 2022/23 season, winning 3-1 in Spain (December 2002) and 2-0 on Tyneside (March 2003), but I'm predicting the Magpies to come out on top in Thursday's head-to-head.
Barcelona will be without several starters for this league phase match, including star man Lamine Yamal, who missed his side's 6-0 battering of Valencia on Sunday. Hansi Flick's side didn't miss the 18-year-old much at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, but they are likely to find things much tougher going at St James' on Thursday.
Newcastle finished bottom of their group the last time they competed in the Champions League (2023/24), but memorably tore Kylian Mbappe's Paris Saint-Germain apart 4-1 in their first home game. Eddie Howe's men competed admirably in their first Tyneside tussle this season against Liverpool, fighting back from two goals down against the reigning Premier League champions, with 10 men no less, and coming within 60 seconds of achieving a draw, only for teenager Rio Ngumoha to break their hearts and win the game for the visitors.
Two clean sheets have followed that defeat, the latest coming in a 1-0 home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, and so some confidence has been restored after a shaky start to the season.
Nick Woltemade made a goalscoring debut against Wolves, and that strike should serve the German well ahead of Barcelona's visit.
St James' is sure to be rocking on Thursday, and with Yamal sidelined for Barca, there is a genuine chance for the hosts to cause an upset this week.
I'll back a home win, but in the '2 Up Early Payout' market, meaning the bet will land as soon as the Magpies go two goals ahead. That will prevent any late nerves arising from a potential Barca comeback.
LDU Quito vs Sao Paulo (23:00 BST) - LDU Quito to Win @ 9/10
Finally, we head to the Estadio Rodrigo Paz Delgado in Quito, Ecuador, for the first leg of a Copa Libertadores quarter-final tie between LDU Quito and Sao Paulo.
LDU have already faced two Brazilian sides, Flamengo and Botafogo, in the competition this season, pipping the former to top spot in Group C, and beating the latter 2-1 over two legs in the last 16 last month.
Botafogo won their home leg 1-0, but were beaten 2-0 in Ecuador, where Sao Paulo have never beaten LDU in three attempts. They lost the first 3-0 there in 2004, the second 4-2 in 2020, and the third 2-1 in 2023.
Quito sits at about 2,850 meters or 9,350 feet above sea level, reportedly making it the second-highest capital city in the world in terms of elevation.
You can understand, then, why teams find it so difficult to achieve positive results in Quito.
LDU are yet to concede at home in this season's Copa Libertadores, winning three of their four games to nil and drawing the other 0-0 with Flamengo. That's not exactly encouraging news for their next opponents, Sao Paulo, who won all three group games away from home but were held to a 0-0 draw in their last away match in the competition by Atletico Nacional, who saw Edwin Cardona fail to convert two penalties.
Thursday's visitors are missing a whole host of first-team players for this trip to Ecuador, notably Oscar, Lucas Moura, and Andre Silva, so they're certainly not at full strength.
I'm backing LDU to take a lead to next week's second leg in Brazil.
