Football Accumulator Tips: 30/1 four-fold for Monday

My last attempt at a Football Acca was not as successful as I'd hoped, with just one of my four selections landing. However, I'm back to kick-start the week with another accumulator and there are games all over Europe which have caught my eye.

Brighton to beat Liverpool (H) @ 7/4

Brighton & Hove Albion had to witness their rivals Crystal Palace win the FA Cup on Saturday, which looks to have scuppered their plans of qualifying for Europe, as the Eagles will now compete in next year's Uefa Europa League.

Brighton and a couple other teams are now dependent on Chelsea to have any chance of qualifying for Europe. If Chelsea win the Conference League and then finish seventh and Newcastle finish inside the top six - or Chelsea finish sixth and Newcastle seventh - eighth place in the Premier League will qualify for Europe.

All the Seagulls can do now is focus on their last two games and first up they welcome the champions Liverpool to the Amex. The Reds already appear to be in summer mode as they have been taking various trips abroad in between recent matches, including a group trip to Dubai, while boss Arne Slot appeared to have a party for one at Ocean Beach in Ibiza.

Liverpool are already 'on the beach' shall we say, and they are counting down the hours until this season is officially over so they can go into full party mode. I think this presents an opportunity for Brighton, who are unbeaten in their last three matches, winning two of them.

Since starting to jet off for trips to enjoy some mini title celebrations, Liverpool are winless in the Premier League - losing to Chelsea before letting a two-goal lead against Arsenal slip to draw 2-2 at Anfield last weekend.

There is more at stake for Brighton and I fancy the hosts to secure a big three points in Sussex.

Shamrock Rovers to beat St Patrick's Athletic (H) @ 8/11

In the League of Ireland Premier Division, Shamrock Rovers lead the way after 16 matches as they bid to reclaim the title from Shelbourne. The league leaders are two points clear at the summit and they will have the chance to extend their gap when they host St Patrick's Athletic.

Rovers have won four of their last five matches in the top flight and they appear to be hitting their stride at the midway point of the season.

The same cannot be said for the visitors, who have really struggled on the road recently. St Pat's have lost three consecutive away trips in the league, and I think this trend will continue at the home of the table-toppers.

Draw - Shelbourne vs Drogheda United @ 11/5

Sticking in the Republic of Ireland, defending champions Shelbourne are in action at home to Drogheda United. After a stellar campaign in 2024, many wondered if Shelbourne would push on this year but their campaign has not gone to plan so far.

Shels are sixth and seven points adrift of Shamrock Rovers at the summit. Their form has dipped massively in recent weeks, losing three of their last four. The Reds have really struggled to create chances, which has me believing that Drogheda can come here and leave with a point.

Kevin Doherty's side always seem to be very competitive when facing Shelbourne and they have been a tough side to beat of late.

Elfsborg to beat Djurgarden (H) @ 21/20

Our acca is rounded off in Sweden as Elfsborg and Djurgarden collide in the Allsvenskan. The hosts are in excellent form, having won six of their past seven outings in the top flight, including each of their last three.

They have been climbing the table rapidly and they have the chance to move up to top spot with a victory over Djurgarden. The visitors will try to blunt their momentum, but their inconsistency leaves them looking vulnerable against the form side of the division.
