Wednesday night sees a feast of football action, with Liverpool in the Premier League, Arsenal playing in the Champions League and Napoli hosting Barcelona. We’ve got enough games to put together a football accumulator for Wednesday 21 February, and here’s what we’ve come up with.

Football Accumulator Tips - Wednesday 21 February

  • Liverpool to win and over 3.5 goals vs Luton @ EVS
  • Arsenal to score over 1.5 goals vs Porto @ 4/5
  • Barcelona to beat Napoli @ 6/4
  • Bradford to win to nil vs Wycombe @ 18/5

Liverpool to win and over 3.5 goals vs Luton @ EVS

Liverpool host Luton Town in the Premier League and Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Diogo Jota will be out for around six weeks with his knee injury. However, with Mo Salah returning to fitness, the Reds will be hopeful they can extend their lead at the top of the table.

I’m expecting them to win this game, but Luton have provided some excellent entertainment of late. The Hatters’ last four Premier League matches have all had three or more goals, while Liverpool’s last six matches have seen three or more goals. Their last three home matches have ended 3-1, 4-1 and 5-2, and I expect another glut of goals at Anfield this time around.

Arsenal to score over 1.5 goals vs Porto @ 4/5

I think Arsenal are arguably the second or third best team in the Champions League this year and they should be able to get past Porto over two legs. Interestingly, BTTS came in in each of their three away games in Europe so far, and Mikel Arteta seems to have solved the Gunners’ goalscoring woes.

They’ve remarkably won 6-0 and 5-0 in their two away matches and they’ve now scored a ridiculous 21 goals in their last five outings. Porto are likely to find life tough here, and although they may salvage a draw, I’m backing Arsenal to score at least twice.

Barcelona to beat Napoli @ 6/4

Napoli are in a bit of a mess right now. They’ve just sacked manager Walter Mazzarri after just three months in charge and replaced him with Slovakia boss Francesco Calzona. Calzona still plans to manage Slovakia this summer at Euro 2024, but now comes into a side that sits 9th in Serie A.

It’s been a nightmare season for the reigning champions, who were so good last season. Sacking a manager doesn’t seem like great preparation for a Champions League tie and although this would be a winnable game for them in normal circumstances, Barcelona just seem more stable at this moment in time. Madness, I know.

Xavi may be leaving at the end of the season, but Barca are now just eight points off Real Madrid, and should be able to overhaul Girona in second before the season ends. They’ve scored eight goals in their last three games and with Robert Lewandowski on fire, should be able to secure a win in Naples.

Bradford to win to nil vs Wycombe @ 18/5

This EFL Trophy semi-final has a lot riding on it and I believe Valley Parade will be rocking as the Bantams look to book their place at Wembley. They are the only League Two side still in the competition and are facing the side 15th in League One, but Bradford have been excellent of late, especially defensively.

They are on the edge of the play-offs in League Two, and haven’t conceded in their last five games in all competitions. Graham Alexander appears to have sorted out their defence and they’ve beaten the likes of Wrexham and MK Dons to nil in recent weeks. I believe Wycombe still have a lot to prove, and they might just fail to do it away at Valley Parade. With Bradford’s solid defence, we can add a huge price into our fourfold.
