Football Accumulator Tips: 23/1 fourfold for Saturday’s action

It may be the international break, but Saturday still offers us a whole heap of top quality football action. England play Brazil at Wembley, Kylian Mbappe’s France host Germany and we have a few Football League games to delve into as well. We’ve put together a fourfold which pays 23/1 for you to consider. 

England to beat Brazil @ 4/5

The Three Lions are back. Gareth Southgate’s men host Brazil in a much-anticipated friendly on Saturday night (19:00), and I believe England will come out on top. Brazil have lost their last three games on the trot while the Three Lions haven’t lost at Wembley in 90 minutes since October 2020, when they were defeated 1-0 by Denmark. 

Now with Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane reunited, they should be able to beat a Brazil side that is not quite at its best. England are a serious force in world football these days, and I’m happy to add them to the acca to kick us off. 

France to beat Germany @ 4/5

The hosts of Euro 2024 need to start to pick up results, and fast. They have now failed to win their last three matches, losing to both Turkey and Austria in November. There’s serious worries for Julian Nagelsmann at this moment in time and he clearly doesn’t know his best XI. 

France just keep on marching on. They may have drawn 2-2 with Greece in their final qualifier, but that was without Mbappe. They are clearly the better side here and should be able to get past a weak German defence. 

Derby to beat Northampton @ 8/13

Paul Warne’s Derby side are flying. They’ve now won their last four games on the bounce, including a vital 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday. That win took them four points clear of third place, and gave them a massive boost in their quest for promotion. 

Next up they travel to Northampton Town, who haven’t won in their last five games, and have lost their last two outings without scoring a goal. This should be another step on the way to the Championship for Derby, and we can expect a comfortable away win. 

Newport County to beat Barrow @ 7/2

A big price but one I’m happy to put in this acca. Newport have turned a corner of late, and have battled their way up the table under Graham Coughlan. They have won their last two games, scoring seven goals in the process, and they only lost 1-0 to the two best teams in the league, in Mansfield and Stockport. 

Now they travel to a Barrow team who have fallen away from automatic promotion contention with two draws on the bounce. Their 0-0 at home to Harrogate Town last time out was particularly disappointing, and I feel with Newport’s attacking prowess they will be able to cause Pete Wild’s men serious problems. The outside pick for this acca, but one that gives us a huge price of 23/1.
