Fiorentina v Parma Prediction: Home team to win entertaining affair

Fiorentina have won the Coppa Italia six times, most recently in 2001 when they beat Parma in the final, and they will be hoping to pick up that tally this season.
They face a tough opening match this year however, against those same opponents.
Parma went one better in the cup final a year later, winning the competition in 2002, and they currently top Serie B.
Here we pick out the best bets for this Coppa Italia clash.
Fiorentina vs Parma Betting Tips:
Team news
Fiorentina will be without Dodo, Gaetano Castrovilli and Tommaso Martinelli, who are all dealing with injuries.
Manager Vincenzo Italiano may choose to rest some of his starters and bring in squad players Josip Brekalo, Yerry Mina and M’Bala Nzola as they manage their busy schedule.
Parma are set to be without Lautaro Valenti with a knee issue while Roberto Inglese is also a doubt.
Adrian Benedyczak and Simon Sohm are both set to return to the fold, from illness and suspension respectively.
Match odds
Fiorentina can be backed at 4/9 for the victory, while Parma are 11/2 outsiders and the draw is available at 3/1.
Fiorentina to win and both teams to score @ 21/10
Fiorentina have been in solid form in Serie A this season, sitting sixth after winning seven of their opening 14 games of the league campaign.
The Purples are also unbeaten in five Europa Conference League games and currently top Group F in that competition.
They will be out for revenge in the Coppa Italia after they were beaten 2-1 by Inter in the final last season.
Fiorentina reached the semi-finals the year before that so clearly take this competition seriously and have a strong record in it.
Parma are a solid outfit though and have netted in 16 of their 17 games this term.
Both teams are fancied to score in what may be an entertaining affair with Fiorentina likely to rest some of their starters and Parma looking for revenge for that cup final defeat 22 years ago.
The hosts should have too much, however.
Nicolas Gonzalez to score at anytime @ 5/4
Fiorentina have made a habit of fielding impressive strikers in recent years and Nicolas Gonzalez could be the next.
The Argentinian is having the best season of his career in Italian football, netting seven times in all competitions for the hosts.
Gonzalez is also on penalty duties so looks a solid pick to get on the scoresheet.
