There's a huge game taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on Thursday evening (20:00 BST, BBC One), as Euro 2025 host nation Switzerland take on Group A rivals Finland at the Stade de Geneve. After two rounds of fixtures, the teams are level on four points, but as things stand, the Swiss will qualify for the knockouts as runners-up to Norway, as they boast a superior goal difference to the Finns.

Below are my Finland vs Switzerland Bet Builder Tips, with this four-fold paying out at 33/1.

Match Result - Draw

Switzerland only require a draw to clinch second spot in Group A, so I'm not expecting the host nation to go all out on Thursday in an attempt to win the match.

Sure, they will look to go in front to try and avoid a frantic finale in Geneva, but they're unlikely to commit too many players forward in fear of being caught out by Finland, who will be in desperate search of a goal to win the game and advance to the quarter-finals at the expense of their opponents.

Finland vs Switzerland Odds

Finland have drawn five times since June last year, with Switzerland experiencing three stalemates in that period.

The countries last met in April 2019, with the friendly finishing goalless.

I can see the Swiss being content to claim a point on Thursday, so a draw takes my fancy here.

Total Goals Over/Under 4.5 - Under

I'm not expecting a goalfest, with Finland's last 11 games going under 4.5 goals, and eight of Switzerland's last 10 ending the same way.

We could see a nervy contest play out at the Stade de Geneve, with Switzerland potentially soaking up the pressure late on, happy just to send the ball away from their defensive third.

Today's Football Fixtures

Both teams have kept a clean sheet already at this tournament, which should increase confidence in their backlines.

We haven't seen too many big scorelines at Euro 2025; at the time of writing, just two out of 14 games have produced over 4.5 goals.

Finland vs Switzerland Bet Builder Stats

  • Under 2.5 goals has been a winning selection in 12 of the first 14 games at Euro 2025
  • Finland have taken six corners in each of their Euro 2025 matches so far

Finland (W) Total Corners Over/Under 4.5 - Over

It's Finland who I expect to be pushing the hardest for a goal on Thursday, and that means they could rack up the shots and crosses, which can lead to plenty of corners coming their way.

The Helmarit took six corners in their opening game against Iceland and followed that up with another six against Norway.

Football Odds

Switzerland only conceded one corner to Iceland, and three to Norway, but I'd expect the Nati to be under more pressure on Thursday, and 5+ corners looks achievable for Finland.

Player Show Any Card - Livia Peng (SWI)

Swiss number one Livia Peng completes this Bet Builder, as I back the Chelsea shot-stopper to pick up a card in Geneva.

The 23-year-old is, naturally, long odds to receive a card, as this selection is hugely dependent on game state.

I'm predicting Thursday's contest to be closely fought, with Switzerland either ahead or on level terms heading into the latter stages, and that's when goalkeepers tend to pick up the majority of their yellows for timewasting.

We saw this at the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup on Tuesday, as Chelsea's Robert Sanchez was booked for delaying the restart in the 73rd minute of his side's 2-0 victory over Fluminense.

I can see something similar happening with another Blues goalkeeper, Peng, on Thursday.
