South Korea vs Czech Republic Odds
Match result – Draw
Typically, opening matches of a tournament tend to be cagey affairs, and I can see this fixture falling into that category.
It seems unlikely that both sides will throw caution to the wind here, and the Czechs pride themselves on not getting beat - four of their last nine matches have resulted in draws.
Five of South Korea’s last seven games have gone under 2.5 goals and considering the stakes in what should be a very competitive and close group, I think a draw appeals at 21/10.
Patrik Schick to score anytime (Sub Switch)
Patrik Schick is the focal point of the Czech Republic’s attack and scored five times for his country during qualifying.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker enjoyed another fine campaign in the Bundesliga, scoring 22 goals in his 42 appearances.
The Czech Republic's great strength is at set pieces - 11 of their 22 goals in qualifying came from dead-ball situations, and at 6ft 3in, Schick is a real threat in the air.
At 19/10, he looks decent value to score anytime in the early hours of Friday morning.
With Betfred's new 'Sub Switch' feature, if Schick gets substituted, you bet will still stand if his replacement scores.
Vladimir Coufal to be carded (Sub Switch)
The former West Ham United right-back committed 33 fouls in 34 appearances for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga this term.
The 33-year-old is a regular card collector for his country, picking up three yellows during qualifying.
He’s 24/5 to be cautioned, and considering he could potentially be up against the pace of Heung-min Son, I think that’s a cracking price, and certainly one to add to this Bet Builder.
Once again - throw in Betfred’s new ‘Sub Switch’ feature, which means your bet continues to count for Coufal's replacement if he is substituted.
