Slovenia vs Kosovo Prediction: Away win massive price

Slovenia can still fight for a play-off spot, while Kosovo still have a strong chance of qualifying automatically for the 2026 World Cup. They have picked up seven points and sit three points behind Switzerland, and a win here would book their place in the play-offs at the very least.

Jan Oblak will captain Slovenia and play in goal once again, with Leeds United defender Jaka Bijol set to be involved. Petar Stojanovic should play at right-back, while Greek-based duo Benjamin Verbic and Adam Gnezda Cerin are both set to feature in midfield.
Up top, Swansea City’s Zan Vipotnik should feature, while former Middlesbrough loanee Andraz Sporar could join him in attack.
For Kosovo, Besiktas forward Milot Rashica will play a key part for the visitors, while captain Amir Rrahmani is a key figure in Napoli’s defence. He will want a clean sheet here, while winger Edon Zhegrova and Mergim Vojvoda also both ply their trade in Italy.

Slovenia vs Kosovo Stats
- Kosovo have kept three clean sheets in a row
- Slovenia haven't scored in three games
Kosovo to win @ 16/5
I just can’t understand why Kosovo are such a big price to win this game, so I’m jumping in feet first. Kosovo were hammered 4-0 by Switzerland in their opening qualifier and they looked to be down and out in this group, but they’ve remarkably bounced back with wins home and away against Sweden, and a 0-0 draw against Slovenia.
It’s put them in a strong position to qualify, and they might even secure top spot with a home game against Switzerland still to come. Slovenia meanwhile are yet to win in this group, but they are competitive in most games, earning a point against Switzerland last time out.
I just think this is going to be an incredibly tight game and believe Kosovo are too big in the market. I’ll be brave and back them to win in 90 minutes, given Double Chance - Draw or Kosovo is just 5/6.

Kosovo Clean Sheet @ 11/4
I’m going to back the away team to keep a clean sheet in this one as well, given what they’ve done in recent times. Since conceding four against Switzerland, Kosovo have kept three clean sheets in a row, including in the reverse fixture against Slovenia.
Meanwhile Slovenia haven’t scored in any of their last three outings and I think they are going to find chances hard to come by, even on home soil.
