Team News
Poland will have Barcelona's goal machine and their all-time top scorer, Robert Lewandowski, to spearhead their front line, and the veteran heads into this camp off the back of a hat-trick against Celta Vigo.
Sebastian Szymanski was on the scoresheet in Poland's 2-0 triumph over Lithuania, and he is also set to operate in the final third, with Jakub Kaminski the likely player to feature on the opposite flank.
Lukasz Skorupski and Jan Bednarek are both absent from the squad, and the latter's spot in the back three could be handed to Tomasz Kedziora.
Matthijs de Ligt is back in the Netherlands squad thanks to his excellent form for Manchester United, but a starting spot on Friday seems unlikely.
Fellow Premier League defenders Virgil van Dijk, Jurrien Timber and Micky van de Ven are all set to start in the back line, while Frenkie de Jong and Ryan Gravenberch are set to operate in the midfield.
All-time top scorer Memphis Depay has scored 54 times for his country. He is set to lead the line and support is likely going to come from Justin Kluivert, Cody Gakpo and Donyell Malen.
Wout Weghorst had to withdraw from the squad as the result of a fitness issue.
Poland vs Netherlands Predicted Lineups
- Poland: Dragowski; Wisniewski, Kedziora, Kiwior; Cash, Slisz, Zielinski, Skoras; Szymanski, Lewandowski, Kaminski
- Netherlands: Verbruggen; Dumfries, Timber, Van Dijk, Van de Ven; Gravenberch, De Jong; Malen, Kluivert, Gakpo; Memphis
Poland have won four of their six qualifiers to date, including each of their past two. They are 4/1 to come out on top on Friday.
The reverse fixture between the two sides ended up as a 1-1 draw, and the stalemate is priced at 3/1.
The Netherlands have won the other five of their qualifiers, including three on the spin heading into Friday. They are 4/6 (implied probability of 60%) to collect the three points.
Poland vs Netherlands Stats
- Netherlands have scored 11 goals in their last three matches
- Memphis Depay (NED) has seven goals in qualifying
Away Team Total Goals - Over 2.5 @ 2/1
There are some high stakes in this clash with two games left to play, so both teams will be determined for the victory in Warsaw. When it comes to individual quality, the Netherlands have a lot more options than their hosts.
I think a smart play for this match would be to back the visitors to score at least three goals, which they have accomplished in four of their six qualifiers, including each of their previous three.
In Depay, Gakpo, and Malen, Ronald Koeman's side have plenty of firepower and I think they can cause Poland a lot of problems on Friday night. This is a game in which the attackers will need to step up and deliver, and with their collective abilities, I am confident that they will rise to the occasion.

Anytime Goalscorer - Memphis Depay @ 23/20
As the Netherlands' record goalscorer and seven goals in this qualifying campaign, Depay looks the perfect pick if you are after a goalscorer bet in this fixture. The Corinthians forward has three in his last three qualifiers, and interestingly the only team he has not scored against so far is Poland.
I suspect he will be driven to find the net here so that he can say he found the net against all of his opponents. At 23/20, he is the favourite to get on the scoresheet on Friday - and for good reason.
It also helps that he is De Oranje's first-choice penalty taker, with three of his goals coming from the spot.
