Norway have been having a ball during Uefa World Cup qualifying so far, having won all five of their matches in Group I. They are in action on Saturday (17:00 BST) as they host Israel in Oslo.

Influential midfielder Martin Odegaard has had to withdraw from the Norway squad following his latest injury setback, this time in his knee.

Patrick Berg and Thelo Aasgaard will likely tussle for his spot in the midfield. Orjan Nyland should continue between the sticks for the hosts, likely shielded by a centre-back pairing of Kristoffer Ajer and Torbjorn Heggem.

Norway have a lot of firepower to choose from in attack in the form of Erling Haaland, Alexander Sorloth, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Aune Heggebo.

Israel have no fresh injury concerns heading into the weekend. Boss Ran Ben Shimon may opt to stick with the same starting XI that featured in the 5-4 defeat against Italy last month, with Manor Solomon and Oscar Gloukh in prominent attacking roles.

Dor Peretz bagged a brace in that match while playing in a deeper midfield role, but he may be deployed further up the pitch on this occasion.

In his last international outing against Moldova, the Manchester City frontman bagged a whopping five goals, while for his club he has already registered four braces across all competitions in 2025/26.

I think 9/5 offers good value for him to strike at least twice in this clash given the form he is in. He has already hurt Israel's defence in this qualifying campaign, and on home soil I think he can better his return.

Norway may be expected to win this match to keep their impressive winning streak going, but I don't think they will have it all their own way. After all, Israel may have lost the reverse fixture in March but they scored two goals on that occasion, so they did pose a few problems for Norway.

In fact, the visitors have blanked in just one of their previous 13 fixtures in all competitions, so both teams to score at 10/11 looks enticing here. BTTS has been a common trend during their qualifying campaign, with four of their five games including goals at both ends of the pitch.
