England have shown glimpses of real quality in their last two fixtures, which have seen them score eight goals without concession. The 3-0 win over Wales saw Thomas Tuchel have a dig at the home fans after a dull second half, and the Three Lions will look to make it six wins from six in qualifying with a win in Riga.

This one kicks off at 19:45 BST on ITV1, and below you can find my Latvia vs England predictions.

Latvia vs England Betting Tips

  • Price Boost - Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 5/4
  • Price Boost - England to win, 4+ goals, Kane to score and Saka to assist @ 3/1

Team News

Latvia manager Paolo Nicolato made three changes at half-time during their disappointing 2-2 draw with Andorra, and so changes could be afoot from the start here. Dario Sits, of Atletico Madrid B was hooked at half-time and Janis Ikaunieks replaced him, so we could see that change enforced from the off.

He could partner Vladislavs Gutkovskis up top if Latvia stick with their 5-3-2-, after the man who now has 12 goals for his country found the net again against Andorra. Dmitrijs Zelenkovs also scored in that game and will start in the midfield, while Robert Veips and Lukas Vapne are pushing for starts.

For England, Harry Kane is set to come straight back into the team after watching from the sidelines against Wales, after Tuchel said he was “convinced” the Bayern Munich man would be fit after an ankle issue.

World Cup Odds

Ezri Konsa, John Stones, Marc Guehi and Djed Spence started as the back four and could remain unchanged, although Spence could switch flanks and Myles Lewis-Skelly could start to provide more attacking thrust. After his goal, Morgan Rogers is set to keep Eberechi Eze on the bench, while Declan Rice and Elliot Anderson have struck up a solid midfield partnership.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Gordon will tussle it out for the left-wing spot, while Bukayo Saka was superb against Wales and has proved himself time and time again in an England shirt. Jarell Quansah has withdrawn from the squad while Nico O’Reilly will hope to make his debut from the bench.

Latvia vs England Predicted Lineups

  • Latvia - Zviedris; Savalnieks, Veips, Cernomordijs, Jurkovskis, Ciganiks; Zelenkovs, Varslavans; Ikaunieks; Gutkovskis, Ikaunieks.
  • England - Pickford; Spence, Guehi, Stones, Lewis-Skelly; Anderson, Rice; Saka, Rogers, Rashford; Kane.

Latvia vs England Odds

Latvia are the huge underdogs for this game, priced at 40/1 for a shock win. England are 1/16, giving them an implied win probability of 94%, while a draw can be backed at 12/1.

England’s record goalscorer Kane is the favourite to score first at 7/4, while BTTS is 2/1. Betfred also have plenty of Bet Builder Boosts and Price Boosts for you to consider on the link above.

Latvia vs England Stats

  • England have won their last three games without conceding
  • Bukayo Saka has scored in his last two games
  • Harry Kane has 11 goals in six league matches this term for Bayern Munich

Price Boost - Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 5/4

I love Saka. I think he’s arguably been England’s best player at the last three major tournaments and his recovery from that heartbreaking penalty miss against Italy in the final of Euro 2020 has been impressive. He’s now one of the best wingers in the world, and I think even with plenty of options on that right-hand side, the Three Lions need Saka at his best.

He has had a slow start to the season due to injury at Arsenal, but now looks to be fully fit, and Tuchel is seemingly going to rely on him just as much as Gareth Southgate did. England should trounce Latvia tonight with relatively little fuss, so I think the value lies in this Price Boost. Saka scored a worldie against Wales and also scored in his last Premier League outing against West Ham - so he is in decent nick in front of goal. Another one tonight please Bukayo.

More of the same really. England should win this game by four or five goals to nil, and so it makes perfect sense to back this Price Boost. Kane is on fire and has scored a ridiculous 11 Bundesliga goals in just six matches, while he’s now on 74 goals in 109 international appearances.

He should have no trouble finding the net here, while Saka is going to be key throughout in terms of England’s attack. England hit five past Serbia in their last away game and I’m expecting something similar here. Big away win on the card, and hopefully another winner for us.
