Team News
England have had to cope with the loss of Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, who had to withdraw after picking up an abductor injury playing for the Eagles. This led to a surprising call-up for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who was last in the squad in 2018.
Tottenham Hotspur full-back Djed Spence and Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson have also been picked for the senior squad for the first time. Boss Thomas Tuchel may consider handing both their debuts here.
Captain Harry Kane is set to earn his 108th cap for the Three Lions, which would tie him with Bobby Moore in fifth for England appearances.
Jordan Henderson could also be given a start here as Tuchel may consider this game as a trial XI. This may also present an opportunity for in-form Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson to start between the sticks.
England vs Andorra Stats
- England defeated Andorra 4-0 when they last faced them at home in September 2021
- Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game when the two sides met in June
Andorra boss Koldo Alvarez has selected another squad flowing with international experience. Marc Pujol - still going strong at the age of 43 - remains their skipper as he bids to earn his 123rd cap on Saturday.
Fellow midfielder Marc Vales, another veteran but at a younger age of 35, is also in line to make his 101st appearance for the visitors, while Iker Alvarez of Spanish second-tier side Cordoba starts in goal.
England are the heavy favourites to win this match at 1/200 and they have won all seven clashes with Andorra to date. Three of the past four meetings have been won by a -4 handicap, which is priced at 19/20 (implied probability of 9.5%).
The draw is marketed at 33/1 and it is 66/1 for Andorra to pull off an upset.
Kane heads the anytime scorer market at 1/4, and he is followed by Ollie Watkins and Jarrod Bowen at 4/11 and 4/6 respectively.
England to win 4-0 @ 9/2
Given the markets for an England triumph here are not offering much value, I've had to dive into the correct score market to find an attractive selection. The resulting fishing has plucked out a 4-0 victory for the Three Lions.
There is a huge gulf in class between the two sides, and that is even when considering Tuchel playing an experimental XI on Saturday. England defeated the visitors 1-0 in the reverse fixture in June, which was a disappointment to supporters because of the quality options Tuchel has in attack.
The three meetings with Andorra before that match had seen England post 5-0, 4-0 and 6-0 wins. The 4-0 was the last game to played on home soil, and I can see a similar scoreline unfolding at the weekend.

Harry Kane first goalscorer @ 2/1
Given his excellent goalscoring pedigree and the leadership he brings to England, I think Tuchel will name Kane in the starting lineup to face Andorra, particularly if there are going to be some younger, inexperienced players in the team alongside him.
The striker will lead from the front and he is in good form for his country, having scored in each of his last five appearances, which included the reverse fixture against Andorra.
His goal was the only one in that particular contest, and I think 2/1 is a good price for him to open the scoring on this occasion.
