Faroe Islands vs Armenia Prediction: Lucas to lift Armenians in Torshavn

The Faroe Islands are winless after their first two games in Uefa Nations League C4, piling a fair amount of pressure on them ahead of their next match, which comes at home to Armenia on Thursday (19:45).
Read below for my Faroe Islands vs Armenia prediction, complete with all the latest team news and match odds, ahead of this contest at Torsvollur in Torshavn.
Faroe Islands vs Armenia Betting Tips
Team News
Brandur Hendriksson Olsen is back in the Faroe Islands squad after returning from injury, joining the likes of defender Viljormur Davidsen - who scored in a 1-1 draw with North Macedonia last month - and striker Joan Simun Edmundsson who, with 90 caps, is the most experienced international in the Faroese setup.
Klaemint Olsen is the Faroe Islands' highest-scoring active player with 10 international strikes but played just a few fleeting minutes in September's defeat to Latvia after failing to feature versus North Macedonia three days earlier.
The headline names in Oleksandr Petrakov's Armenia squad are Al-Fateh attacker Lucas Zelarayan and Borussia Monchengladbach forward Grant-Leon Ramos, who have each scored four times for their country - only Vahan Bichakhchyan (five) has more in the current setup.

The Faroe Islands are 12/5 to claim their first victory in Group C4, giving them an implied win probability of 29.4%. Armenia, meanwhile, are 11/10 (47.6%) to triumph for the second time in just over a month, with the draw priced at 11/5.
Both teams to score is available at 10/11 and over 2.5 total goals at 6/5.
Armenia's Artur Miranyan (21/10) is favourite to score anytime on Thursday, with Edmundsson (13/5) most fancied for the Faroe Islands.
Match Result - Armenia @ 11/10
The Faroe Islands are one of the European minnows of international football, highlighted in their record of just one win in their last 18 games, stretching back to November 2022. They've lost 13 of those matches and have failed to score in nine of their last 12, so there should be little for Armenia to fear on Thursday.
Armenia haven't been in great form themselves, winning just two of their last 12 contests, but those victories have come in their last three. The Havakakan followed up a 2-1 win at home to Kazakhstan in June with a 4-1 demolition of Latvia last month, but they came unstuck against North Macedonia three days later, losing 2-0 despite holding a man advantage for a full half.
Their away record is a concern heading into this one as they have failed to win their last seven away from Armenia, losing their last six, but their hosts haven't triumphed at home since September 2022, losing four of their five games in the Faroe Islands since.
This is a tricky one to predict, but I'm siding - just - with Armenia to claim maximum points in Torshavn, with two wins from three enough to encourage me to plump for the landlocked nation.

Anytime Goalscorer - Lucas Zelarayan (ARM) @ 5/2
Zelarayan was on target in Armenia's 4-1 victory over Latvia last month as the Havakakan kicked off their Nations League campaign in perfect fashion. His previous three strikes for Latvia had all come against Wales last year; the 32-year-old bagged a brace in a 4-2 win in Cardiff in June and opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw in Yerevan last November.
The Argentina-born attacking midfielder really put himself on the map during a three-year spell with MLS side Columbus Crew, where he showcased his sharp-shooting abilities with 42 goals in 107 appearances before sealing a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia, where he currently resides.
Zelarayan enjoyed a solid first season with Al-Fateh, netting eight times in 30 Saudi Pro League matches, but he's yet to find the net in six games with his club side this term, so he could benefit from finding the net with his country, and gaining some confidence to take back to the Middle East.
He should start on Thursday, so 5/2 stands out as a tempting price in the anytime goalscorer market, in my opinion.
