Eyupspor vs Kasimpasa Prediction: Kasimpasa to extend unbeaten run

Eyupspor have a new man in charge for Monday's home Turkish Super Lig clash with Kasimpasa after Orhan Ak was appointed on Monday. His first game is a tricky home assignment as the club looks to move on from the disastrous short reign of Selcuk Sahin, who won just one of his eight games in charge to leave Eyupspor in the relegation zone before the international break.

Eyupspor finished a very creditable sixth last season following promotion under Arda Turan but it’s been a tumultuous time of late at the club, Orhan replacing Sahin last week after a very poor start to the season.

With just one win in their first eight Super Lig games, Orhan must try to arrest the slide as he inherits a side who are without a win in six, while confidence will be at rock-bottom as they have failed to score in their last five games.

The often-expected new manager bounce is probably behind much of the reasoning for the hosts to be favourites, but Kasimpasa’s juicy 21/10 price for an away win looks too good to resist.

The visitors are on a five-game unbeaten run and have recently secured victories on the road at Karagumruk and Rizespor to suggest they can pick up all three points here as well.

Kasimpasa have relied on centre-forward Pape Habib Gueye for goals this season, with the Senegal international scoring three so far.

His most recent strike came in the 2-1 win at Rizespor at the end of September and he is usually an active threat in the final third, managing a total of 17 shots in his seven league appearances this season, four of which have been on target.

The 26-year-old can, like most strikers, improve his accuracy, but he looks a good price to add another goal to his tally on Monday in a game the visitors should create plenty in.
