Everton vs Liverpool Bet Builder Tips: Goodison Park could play its part again

After the original fixture was postponed due to storms, the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park takes place on Wednesday (19:30, TNT Sports 1) as Everton host Liverpool in the Premier League. The Toffees have won three league games on the spin coming into this clash, with David Moyes making an instant impact upon his return to the club.
Liverpool are 19 matches unbeaten in the top flight and have the chance to go nine points clear at the top of the table. Below you will find my Everton vs Liverpool Bet Builder tips, which pay out at an enticing 7/1.
Everton vs Liverpool Bet Builder Tips
- Liverpool or draw
- Both teams to score
- Alexis Mac Allister to receive a card
- Idrissa Gueye 1+ fouls

Liverpool or draw
Arne Slot has had an excellent start to his Liverpool reign, and not many would have predicted the Dutchman having the Reds in this strong position in the race for the title in his first season.
This game already has a lot riding on it because it is the final Merseyside derby to be played at Goodison before Everton make the switch to the new Bramley Moore Dock stadium next term.
There are the bragging rights of course, with both clubs wanting to have the last laugh here, but the visitors have the incentive to win so that they move nine points clear at the summit, with this game in hand.
However, Liverpool have failed to win here in their past two appearances. They were beaten 2-0 last season and the time before that ended in a goalless stalemate. The Toffees have been boosted since Moyes' return and they can certainly cause their bitter rivals some problems.
I think double chance in the Reds' favour is worth covering here because Slot's men have been the best team in the division this term, and their star quality in attack, namely Mohamed Salah, can be the difference-maker.
At the same time, Moyes will have Everton fired up and can make them organised to grind out a hard-fought victory in this clash which has importance surrounding legacy.
Both teams to score
This is probably considered a brave selection because at least one team has failed to score in each of the previous five league meetings between the two teams. December 2021 was the last time BTTS struck in a Merseyside derby, with Liverpool prevailing 4-1 at Goodison.
In terms of the build-up to this encounter, BTTS has landed in one of Everton's past three home matches in the Premier League, while it has also been a successful bet in five of Liverpool's last eight fixtures in the top flight (home and away).
Alexis Mac Allister to receive a card
The midfield battle is going to be key in this contest, so this bet builder is rounded off with two picks surrounding the disciplinary side of the game. The first one is for Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister to receive a booking.
The Argentine never shies away from a challenge and it does often leave him in hot water with the officials. Mac Allister has been carded six times in the Premier League in 2024/25 and he is currently averaging 2.2 fouls per game.
Interestingly, he was shown a yellow card in this fixture last season in the dying stages, and if things aren't exactly going his side's way on this side of Stanley Park, he could wind up losing his cool.
Idrissa Gueye 1+ fouls
On the opposing side, I think Idrissa Gueye will be equally as busy in the Everton engine room. The Senegalese veteran has been booked on four occasions in the top flight this campaign and he is averaging 1.7 fouls per game.
I'm not as confident in him going into the book, but I think he is worth backing to get at least one caution, as the emotions are sure to take over in this last dance at Goodison Park.
