Everton vs Fulham Prediction: 9/5 for Toffees triumph appeals

Marco Silva returns to his former club this weekend, as Everton host Fulham on Saturday night (17:30, live on Sky Sports Main Event) with both sides looking to build momentum.
The Toffees have steadied the ship under Sean Dyche after a difficult start to the campaign, while Fulham have lost their last two in the Premier League. Read on for my Everton vs Fulham prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Team News
Seamus Coleman remain absent until the end of the month for the hosts, while on-loan Chelsea striker Armando Broja is back in training after an Achilles injury. However, Saturday's encounter is expected to come too soon.
Tim Iroegbunam suffered a stress fracture of the foot on international duty and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks, and James Garner is a major doubt for the weekend after the ex-Manchester United midfielder sustained a back issue last time out.
Jarrad Branthwaite is expected to return to the fold after making just one appearance so far this season, as is Jesper Lindstrom who missed out against Ipswich Town due to illness.
Fulham will be without the services of Joachim Andersen, who will serve a one-match ban after his red card against Aston Villa, and Sasa Lukic remains on the treatment table after picking up a shoulder problem during the international break.
Jorge Cuenca Barreno has an ankle issue and has missed the Cottagers last four outings, while Carlos Vinicius has yet to make an appearance this term due to a calf problem.

The Toffees are 9/5 to claim all three points, giving them an implied win probability of 35.7%, while the visitors are 8/5 and the draw is 12/5.
Raul Jimenez tops the anytime goalscorer market at 2/1, followed by Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Rodrigo Muniz (both 21/10), and Dwight McNeil at 100/30.
Everton to win @ 9/5
After losing their first four league games this season, Everton appear to have turned things around and are unbeaten in their last four outings. In addition, the Toffees have kept clean sheets in both games they've played this month.
Dyche's side wee unbeaten in 27 home games against Fulham between 1949 and 2018, however since then the Blues have lost their last three at Goodison Park to the Cottagers, and are a great price as a a result.
Fulham haven't lost in any of their last five encounters with Everton, but I think that run comes to an end this weeked, as Silva's side have lost their last two and only won one of their last six on the road across all competitions.
A single goal could decide this one, but given Everton's recent turnaround, I'm opting for a Toffees triumph.

Dwight McNeil to score anytime @ 100/30
Fulham will need to be on top form defensively against the likes of Dwight McNeil, who has six goal involvements in his last six appearances for the Toffees.
The former Burnley winger has had five shots on target over the course of his last five league appearances, so I would expect him to be involved in the thick of the action on Saturday.
