Tromso vs Hradec Kralove Prediction: Both teams to find the net in Norway

Hradec Kralove were expecting to be in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers this summer, but following a match-fixing probe by UEFA, MFK Karvina were chucked out of the Europa League so Hradec Kralove were bumped up a level.

Team News

Defender Casper Oyvann is ruled out for Tromso through injury, so  Vetle Skjaervik, Tobias Guddal and Isak Vadebu will continue as the hosts' back three.

A groin injury is keeping Viktor Ekblom from taking part on Thursday. Troy Nyhammer is likely to partner Heine Asen Larsen up top as a result.

It remains to be seen if midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl will be involved because of the transfer saga surrounding the young Norwegian. Both Cardiff City and Rangers are hoping to secure his services this summer, and reports suggest the former are closest to striking a deal.

Hradec Kralove look set to field a back three themselves, consisting of Jakub Uhrincat, Tomas Petrasek and Filip Cihak. They will be tasked with shielding goalkeeper Patrik Vizek.

Tomas Wiesner and Daniel Horak are the Czech side's dependable wing-backs, who will have a lot of work to do against the Norwegian league leaders.

Tromso have earned Betfred's favour as they are 4/9 to prevail on home soil.

It's 5/1 for Hradec Kralove to pull off an upset and win in Norway, while the stalemate is marketed at 3/1.

Tromso are currently top of the pile in Norway's Eliteserien and they have scored 12 goals equally across their last three matches. Against a team who are in Europe for the first time in 30 years, I think Tromso will make the most of being at home for the first leg and take control of the tie.

Each of their previous three fixtures have seen them win by at least three goals, and so they look a bet with a -1 handicap at 7/5, which has an implied probability of 41.7%.

If you're new to betting, this market covers Tromso to win but by a two-goal margin. Hradec Kralove would be given a hypothetical 1-0 lead, so the hosts would need to win by a scoreline such as 2-0 or 3-1.
