Team News
Dan-Axel Zagadou (muscle), Luca Jaquez (thigh) and Lazar Jovanovic (back) are all expected to miss out for Stuttgart due to injury.
Forward Deniz Undav is hoping to improve on his one goal in the Europa League so far but he has provided three assists in the league phase so far.
Young Boys are going to be without Rayan Raveloson due to suspension, having picked up his third yellow card in the home defeat against Lyon last week.
Former Watford right-back Ryan Andrews is a doubt to feature after picking up an injury in the weekend's defeat at Thun in the Swiss Super League.
Stuttgart vs Young Boys Predicted Lineups
- Stuttgart: Nubel; Assignon, Jeltsch, Chabot, Mittelstadt; Karazor, Andres; Leweling, Undav, Fuhrich; Demirovic
- Young Boys: Keller; Janko, Wuthrich, Benito, Mambwa; Lauper, Fernandes; Fassnacht, Sanches, Monteiro; Bedia
Stuttgart are the heavy favourites to win this clash at 2/7 and they have won all three of their home clashes in the league phase.
The draw is valued at 9/2 but neither side have drawn any of their seven fixtures to date.
Young Boys are 17/2 to stun their German hosts.
BTTS - Yes has landed in two of the hosts' home appearances in this competition and this is available at 5/6 for Thursday.
Stuttgart vs Young Boys Stats
- Stuttgart have won all 3 of their home games in Europe
- Deniz Undav (STU) has 3 goals in his last 5 competitive appearances
Match Result & Over/Under 2.5 Goals - Stuttgart & Over @ 7/10
Stuttgart have been largely strong during the league phase with four wins from seven games, and Die Roten have demonstrated their strength when playing at home. The hosts have won all three of their UEL matches at MHP Arena this season and I think this trend will continue on Thursday against Young Boys.
Their Swiss opponents have lost three of their previous four outings in this competition ahead of their trip to Germany, and they have also lost two of their three away matches so far. This does not bode well for them coming up against a side with a perfect home record.
I'm confident Stuttgart will win this clash and I think combining the selection with over 2.5 goals adds value as two of their three home clashes have produced at least three goals.

Anytime Goalscorer - Deniz Undav @ 9/10
Undav is such an asset to Stuttgart in the final third but he has not been having as much joy in the Europa League so far with just one goal in five games. His goal did come on home turf, though, against Feyenoord and he has also had a strong start to 2026.
The German international has bagged three goals in five competitive appearances for Stuttgart since the new year and I think this confidence boost can help him add to his tally in the Europa League.
I'm sure he'll have looked at Young Boys' defensive record during the league phase so far, with the visitors conceding 13 goals to date. The forward should fancy his chances to get on the scoresheet here.
