FC Porto go in search of their second Uefa Europa League win of the season when they welcome Red Star Belgrade to Estadio do Dragao on Thursday (20:00 BST, TNT Sports 8). The hosts have won all three of their home games to date this term, without conceding a single goal.

Below you will find my Porto vs Red Star Belgrade predictions, alongside the latest team news and match odds.

Porto vs Red Star Belgrade Betting Tips

Team News

Porto striker Samu Aghehowa will need to be assessed ahead of Thursday's game after he limped off in Monday's league triumph at Arouca. There is hope that the top scorer will be fine to feature in this crunch European clash.

The Dragons would be in a tricky spot if he were to miss out given the fact that fellow forward Luuk de Jong is sidelined with a knee problem.

Zaidu Sanusi came off the bench to score his first goal in two years on Monday night, and the Nigerian left-back is pushing for a start, while Nehuen Perez continues his recovery from an unspecified injury.

Despite getting sent off at Arouca, Martim Fernandes is eligible to feature on Thursday as his ban only applies to domestic fixtures.

Football Odds

For Red Star, Bruno Duarte was sent off in their latest match, but he is also available for selection in Porto, while midfielder Rade Krunic remains out of action with an abductor injury.

Stefan Lekovic and Mirko Ivanic both struck late on to seal a comeback victory at the weekend against Radnicki 1923 and are expected to keep their places in the side.

Former Stoke City and Inter Milan attacker Marko Arnautovic is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to provide an assist.

Porto vs Red Star Belgrade Predicted Line-ups

  • Red Star Belgrade - Matheus; Stankovic, Rodrigao, Lekovic, Tiknizyan; Kostov, Elsnik; Zaric, Ivanic, Milson; Arnautovic

Today's Football Fixtures

Porto vs Red Star Belgrade Odds

Porto have won all eight of their fixtures so far in 2025/26 and the hosts are 4/9 to come out on top on Thursday. All three of their home wins so far have been by at least three clear goals, and they are 3/1 (implied probability of 25%) to win with a -2 handicap.

Red Star have won four of their last five away trips in all competitions and they are 6/1 to stun their Portuguese hosts.

The draw, which was the outcome on matchday one when Red Star were held at home by Celtic, is valued at 18/5.

Seven of Porto's games have ended with them keeping a clean sheet. They are 6/5 to post another shutout on Thursday.

Porto vs Red Star Belgrade Stats

  • Porto have won seven of their eight games to nil this season
  • Samu Aghehowa (POR) has five goals in seven appearances this term

Porto to win to nil @ 6/4

Porto's start to the season couldn't have been any better. They have won every single one of their eight fixtures in all competitions and have kept clean sheets in seven of them.

The Dragons have conceded just once, with Sporting CP the only side to breach their defence so far in 2025/26. This is going to be an extremely difficult trip for Red Star Belgrade given the form of their hosts, and considering the gulf in class between the two squads on paper, I am expecting this to be reflected out on the pitch and on the scoresheet.

Porto to win to nil has been a successful bet for all but one match this season so far and I think this trend can continue on Thursday. Francesco Farioli's side are not only well-organised in defence, but also ruthless in attack.

I predict they can win this one with relative ease, without being troubled at the back.

Samu Aghehowa anytime goalscorer @ 19/20

Assuming all is going to be well with Porto's devastating front man on Thursday, I think he will play another starring role for his side. The striker has five goals in six Primeira Liga appearances heading into this clash, three of which have come on home turf.

He should be eager to get off the mark in the Europa League given his exploits in the competition last term. The Spain international found the net six times in nine appearances in 2024/25 and given his ability, this seems like the perfect time for him to get up and running in the new European campaign.

The 21-year-old has three goals in his last four outings for Porto and I predict his excellent form will continue against Red Star.
