Team News
Celta striker Williot Swedberg remains a doubt after picking up an ankle injury while representing Sweden U21s earlier in the month.
Mihailo Ristic should be available for selection, having recovered from a muscle issue that has sidelined him for the hosts' past five games.
Carlos Dominguez, Damian Rodriguez, Javi Rueda, Iago Aspas are all options to come into the side for this clash if boss Claudio Giraldez opts to make any changes.
Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Moise Bombito and Mohamed Abdelmonem are all out injured for Nice and have been removed from the Ligue 1 outfit's European squad.
Forward Terem Moffi is going to be unavailable for several weeks owing to a calf problem.
Defender Ali Abdi was suspended for Saturday's league clash with Lyon but he will be back available for selection on Thursday.
Celta Vigo vs Nice Predicted Lineups
- Celta Vigo: Radu; Dominguez, Starfelt, Alonso; Rueda, Rodriguez, Moriba, Mingueza; Aspas, Duran, Iglesias
- Nice: Diouf; Mendy, Dante, Peprah; Clauss, Boudaoui, Vanhoutte, Bard; Boga, Diop, Cho
Celta are 19/20 to win this clash. They did win their last European fixture here but they are without a win at Balaidos in five La Liga outings.
The draw is marketed at 13/5 (implied probability of 27.8%), which has been the result in two of Celta's past three home appearances in all competitions.
Nice are yet to win on their travels this term but they are are 11/4 to come away with the victory on Thursday.
Both teams have scored in the previous three games held at Balaidos and BTTS Yes is valued at 8/11.
Celta Vigo vs Nice Stats
- BTTS and over 2.5 goals has struck in Nice's last three matches
- Borja Iglesias (CVI) has two goals in the Europa League this season
Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals @ 11/10
A draw may seem the best result to cover here given the hosts' struggles at home and the visitors' shortcomings on their travels, but I am not convinced enough to pick it out for my first selection.
I am more fascinated by the both teams to score and over 2.5 goals market, which has been a successful bet in each of Nice's last three games in all competitions. This market has also landed in both of their Europa League matches so far this term, and I can see this trend continuing against Celta.
This bet has also struck in both the hosts' two outings in this competition, so the evidence points to there being a good amount of goals on offer in Thursday's contest.

Borja Iglesias anytime goalscorer @ 7/5
Celta Vigo front man Borja Iglesias has had a fine start to the season in Europe, having scored in both of his side's UEL fixtures to date. The 32-year-old has also netted four in nine La Liga appearances this term, so he is a player in good form at the moment.
He should fancy himself to keep his scoring streak in this competition going because of how poor Nice are faring on the road this season. The visitors have managed just two clean sheets in 10 games across all competitions, so Iglesias offers good value to get get on the scoresheet on Thursday night.
