Slovakia look to be up against it at this summer's European Championship after being drawn in Group E alongside Belgium, Ukraine and Romania. At 48th, the Falcons are the fourth lowest-ranked nation in Germany and are fancied to exit at the group stage for the second consecutive tournament.

Read below for my Euro 2024 Slovakia predictions and all the latest betting odds ahead of their first game against Romania on Monday.

Euro 2024 Predictions - Slovakia

  • Outright Winners @ 400/1
  • To Qualify From Group E @ 1/1
  • To Win Group E @ 9/1
  • Total Group Points - 0 @ 11/2
  • Top Team Goalscorer - Lukas Haraslin @ 6/1

Slovakia finished second in their qualifying group behind Portugal to book their spot at Euro 2024, picking up 22 points from 30 available. Portugal were the only team to defeat them (home and away), with Luxembourg (0-0) the only other side to take points from the Falcons.

Francesco Calzona's charges started the calendar year in inauspicious fashion as they lost 2-0 to Austria and drew 1-1 with Norway in the space of four days in March, but they managed to build up a bit of momentum at the start of June with 4-0 wins over San Marino and Wales, though both nations failed to qualify for the finals and didn't prove the sternest of tests.

Gone are the glory days of Marek Hamsik but Juraj Kucka and Milan Skriniar remain important members of the squad while Stanislav Lobotka and David Hancko have both competed for their respective clubs in the Champions League this season.

Midfielders: László Bénes (Hamburg), Matúš Bero (Bochum), Ondrej Duda (Hellas Verona), Patrik Hrošovský (Genk), Juraj Kucka (Slovan Bratislava), Stanislav Lobotka (Napoli), Tomáš Rigo (Ostrava)

Euro 2024 Odds

Outright Winners @ 400/1

Only Georgia (500/1) have been given longer odds to win Euro 2024 than Slovakia, which gives you a good idea about just how unfancied Slovakia are heading into this tournament.

To Qualify From Group E @ 1/1

Slovakia are the lowest-ranked nation in Group E and have been priced accordingly. Belgium and Ukraine should occupy the top two spots, with a straight battle for third potentially playing out between Romania and Slovakia.

After going unbeaten in qualifying, Romania are fancied ahead of Slovakia, and their game in round three of the group stage may well determine third position. A win for either could send one through as one of the four best third-place sides.

To Win Group E @ 9/1

Belgium are red-hot favourites to win Group E, while Slovakia are long odds to triumph. The two nations meet in their first games on June 17, and a victory for the Red Devils would surely consign their opponents to a second-place finish at best.

Total Group Points - 0 @ 11/2

Unfortunately for Slovakia, I think they are in danger of crashing out at the group stage without a point to their name.

Belgium and Ukraine possess much better squads and should be able to swat Slovakia aside without too many issues.

That could set up a winner-takes-all clash with Romania for third spot, and I think the Tricolorii might edge that game if it turns into an end-to-end encounter.

Euro 2024 Total Group E Points - Slovakia - 0 @ 11-2

Top Team Goalscorer - Lukas Haraslin @ 6/1

Robert Bozenik (7/2) is favourite to top score for Slovakia at Euro 2024. The 24-year-old has seven goals in 40 caps for his country, the latest of which came against Wales last week, and he struck eight times in 31 Primeira Liga appearances for Portuguese outfit Boavista in the 2023/24 campaign.

However, Bozenik only scored once in eight qualifiers and was outshone by Sparta Prague forward Lukas Haraslin, who was his country's top scorer with three goals.

Haraslin arrives in Germany off the back of his most prolific season at club level; the 28-year-old scored 12 goals in the Czech First League and netted a further four times in the Europa League.

Euro 2024 Slovakia Top Team Goalscorer - Lukas Haraslin at 6-1
