England and Wales will lock horns on Thursday night (19:45 BST, live on ITV) at Wembley in an international friendly, ahead of their respective World Cup qualifiers against Latvia and Belgium.

It's another test for Thomas Tuchel, who's only suffered one defeat so far during his brief spell in charge of the Three Lions, while Wales have also made steady progress under Craig Bellamy, losing just two of their 12 encounters under the former Liverpool and Manchester City winger. Read on for our England vs Wales predictions, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

England will be without the likes of Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Adam Wharton, who have all been omitted from Tuchel's squad. Harry Kane is also a major doubt for Thursday's contest due to an ankle injury.

Reece James, Noni Madueke and Tino Livramento, who all started against Serbia last time out, are currently sidelined through injury along with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Cole Palmer.

Manchester City's Nico O’Reilly has been handed his first senior call-up, while Bukayo Saka is also back in the England fold.

As for Wales, Aaron Ramsey has been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injury, while Dan James is also absent with an ankle problem.

Tottenham Hotspur duo Ben Davies and Brennan Johnson have been included in Bellamy's squad, while Harry Wilson, Ethan Ampadu and Karl Darlow are also among the Premier League representatives that could be involved on Thursday.

England vs Wales Predicted Line-ups

  • England: Pickford; Spence, Konsa, Guehi, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Anderson; Saka, Rogers, Rashford; Watkins
  • Wales: Darlow; Williams, Mepham, Rodon, Davies; Ampadu, Sheenan, Cullen; Johnson, Moore, Broadhead

England vs Wales Odds

England are 1/4 to prevail on Thursday, giving them an implied win probability of 80%, Wales are 12/1 and the draw is a 9/2 shot.

Kane currently leads the anytime goalscorer market at 7/10, followed by Ollie Watkins at 5/6, while Kieffer Moore, who's scored in each of his last two appearances for Wales, is shortest-priced for the visitors at 9/2.

England vs Wales Stats

  • England have won eight of their last nine internationals
  • Wales have lost just twice from 12 games since Craig Bellamy took charge

England -2 @ 21/10

We're backing a handsome England victory on Thursday night.

The Three Lions have been in good form in competitive matches, winning five under Tuchel so far, and their only loss has been a friendly defeat against Senegal.

Wales have made steady progression under Bellamy but they've also lost against Belgium and Canada recently, and they may rotate their starting XI with a World Cup qualifier on the horizon on Monday.

We're expecting the Three Lions to come out firing. There’s no shortage of attacking talent in this squad, and after their emphatic 5-0 win over Serbia last time out, Tuchel’s side should be in the mood to do rack up the score.

Marcus Rashford to score anytime @ 11/8

Marcus Rashford seems to be gaining his confidence back slowly since joining Barcelona on loan over the summer, and his recent progression can continue with a goal against Wales.

With Kane set to be sidelined for this contest, the 27-year-old should see more goalscoring opportunities fall his way and he could add another goal to his international goal tally of 18.

Rashford scored from the penalty spot in the 5-0 win over Serbia last time out, so he looks a decent bet to bag anytime on Thursday night.
